  • Really great to see a cool grown up conversation between musicians guys!! I personally loved it. We do 3/4 Stereophonics tracks and would love to add this to our set. Im gonna pass this vid to our drummer if thats ok? He would pick it up from the track for sure but there are some nuances that you did that im sure he would put in from watching.

  • sweet

  • Good playing. nice and solid. as a suguestion perhaps just work on the feel, it feels a touch lumpy here and there. otherwise good job!

  • what a little ride man

  • A MIMIC!!!!

  • This was really fun to watch. Stereophonics is one of my favorites and a lot of it is due to the "taste" of the drums. The songs seem to be more interesting than most bands in the way the drums and the bass shape the music . As a drummer do you generally agree, and are their tunes any more pleasurable or difficult than many other bands? (A very general question from a non-musical person.)

  • @depthcharge2 Um, i find there music relaxing to play, there not majorly difficult at all to be honest, but the way to band play off each other is perfect.

  • @Jaydrummer92 Thanks for your answer. Yeah, you're right about how they play off each other. It is the type of band where each individual instrument is doing exactly the right thing to make all the other instruments sound fantastic. I really don't understand how the US market has not caught on to them as they're one of the best out there right now, it seems.

  • @depthcharge2 yep, they are one of the best uk bands, but personally i think muse are the best, there really pushing there self out there now, they will only get bigger, and the whole band our geniuses with the instruments, its hard to believe its only a 3 man band.

  • @Jaydrummer92 I have never been able to really get into Muse, partly because of Bellamy's voice. The biggest reason, however, is seeing a couple of the videos of them putting their music together. They seem so full of themselves. I can't stand arrogant artists who preach. While they may be great at their art their world view isn't of any greater value than the next guy's. Stereophonics is for a blue collar guy, while Muse writes to effect the masses.

  • @depthcharge2 aahh you see i'm different, i absolutely love his voice, so unique, so is kelly's but i adore Matt bellamy's song writing.

i respect your opinion though, were all different people, and thats what makes the world so awesome....sometimes lol

  • RIP STUART CABLE

  • Wow, you got some real skillz bro. Great sound.

  • love the finshed product man glad u making lots of drum videos again

  • I love the roll you get with your left hand on the snare at the beginning... I've been trying for so long to try and get it like that but i just can't get anywhere near how good you get it..

Do you have any tips? :)

  • @Kreashion you have to learn the roll technique, its quite easy, its relaxing all your back fingers whilst keeping a grip on the stick and you push pressure on the drum and the stick will bounce, play around with it until you get a feel for it. remember to grip the stick again before the roll fades out to make it sound clean.

if you notice my left hand when i do rolls my back fingers move out to let the stick roll.

    hope this helps:)

    thanks for watching my video.

  • @Kreashion its like doing a buzz roll but a little less pressure it takes time

  • @Kreashion if you havnt got it by now, seeing as your comment is 2 months old, just practice doubles - its basically a ghosted double stroke

  • nice man ;)

  • sick video m8 (Y) loved it , nice professional style xD
