And When i did it, I Found myself Naturally playing it. I Then Got Great Enthusiasm For Transposing 3 Sets Of Sheet Music. The Original, An Acoustic Guitar Version And The Music Box One. I think you must have some connection with this song from the game of some sort. Otherwise, I don't think it would have the same effect. You can easily read a piano sheet, but it's the emotion from the player that effects the entire feel.

Me and my friend are both Professor Layton addicts, or so it seemed. DX Then she asked to play The Diabolical Box, since I owned it and she didn't. She got stuck on the puzzle with Luke's suitcase where you had to put his stuff back, and she asked me to do it for her...-_- After I completed it for her, she just gave up on the entire game.....SHE WAS NOT WORTHY~!!!!! It made me sad, though. :'(

I'm sorry but I'm going to post some criticism. First of all: the key isn't really hard believe me. This piece isn't fast or difficult; furthermore I don't think you followed the original completely, not necessary but if that was your goal..

Despite the lack of correct notes I did think you did a wonderful job arranging it.. Seriously, that's what I suck at. The notes in the correct key would sound exactly like the original and really capture the feeling.. Really impressive man..

Thanks for your criticism. I do think difficulty is subjective though. Believe me, it would be very difficult for me to play like I did in Db Major. Also you're right that I didn't follow the original very well. There were some differences in the melody and some differences in my harmonization. Most of the melodic differences were my mistakes, however I was fully aware of most of the harmonic differences and I purposefully chose to substitute more tasteful chords at times. :D

Oh yes...and the only exception to that was the chord at 1:13

I simply could not figure out what the real chord was there, so I just used a C dominant 7th chord (at least it worked functionally). Since you seem like a musically proficient person, could you by any chance tell me what the actual chord is in the original version (transposed to CM please :)

@legato29 I'd love to help you but seeing your arrangement again it would seem you would be the expert here. I can read notes and post criticism on sound and feeling, but I can't read chords.. So I'm sorry man. Furthermore I don't know the exact chords for this song too, I started arranging but I quit after a while cause the song started to bore me when I played the beginning 5 times. It's pretty repetitive and I lack the skill to make a total song of it, which is what you did. :)

Yeah you're right the original starts on C♯ or D♭ (they are enharmonically equivalent notes). But I transposed it down a half step (to the key of C Major), so that it would be easier for me to play.

i think you should break up ur sections, play bits of the right hand slowly, then move onto the left hand, then show an aerial view of you playing both at the same time slowly. this usually helps a LOT. :D
