  • lol pretty cool little truck man, hey where can i buy parts at? my f150 is like 9 years old and it needs new shocks, body, and a new controller. it has been through hell since i got it lol

  • @jeomomma

I know Nikko sells some spare parts for their stuff. Not sure about other brands. You're probably better off waiting for a similar 1/6th scale truck to come on sale (after christmas sales maybe?) and get a whole new unit.

  • @froshmasta mines a NIKKO harley davidson F150 1/6 scale. Where can i get at nikko for parts? i need a new controller the most, u know of where i can get one real soon?

  • @jeomomma

Not sure where I got my spare body from them. I built this truck about 6 years ago. Try googling around to see if you can find a contact for their replacement parts department in your country.

  • @froshmasta how did u order a spare body?

  • it must take you all week to clean your driveway

  • now you can shovel your driveway when your INSIDE :P

  • ow and also i have wieghts up to 8 lbs of truck to push snow

  • ok thanks is a new bright ford raptor 1/6 th scale good to work on

  • i posted a vid on my rc please watch

  • @shufflekingster

I think I said this many messages ago but I'll say it again: the best thing you can do with your 1/14 scale truck is charge the battery and drive it how it is until you can save up to start buying the parts you'll need to build a real r/c truck. Even if you can squeeze a Fireball motor into that thing you're still running two wheel drive with an open differential and about 5lbs of truck. I promise you that it won't push snow and you will be frustrated with it.

  • thanks im getting a venom fireball moter for about 7 bucks is that a good motor and my first vid will be about the old moter and the new motor

  • @shufflekingster

Venom fireballs are good cheap motors. I have a 15 turn fireball in my f150 now. I've found that the comm in them tends to be a little rough so you should probably invest in a comm brush or have an experienced RCer near you (local shop maybe?) check the comm smoothness if you notice the motor getting very hot. A cheaply machined (rough) comm tends to eat brushes and arc and burn itself.

  • @froshmasta I can attest to this. I had to clean the comm in all my fireballs. Its possible I even did the 15 turn in the f150, but only because I had the jig set up that day.

  • i know i can bother you with comments and stuff but your the easyest to get info from on how to build one

  • @shufflekingster

Building a one-of-a-kind creation takes experience and knowledge that I can't just tell to other people. I've been involved in R/C since about 1990 so I have a feel for how different parts work together. There are no simple instructions on how to build your own version of this truck. The best thing you can do is watch the videos I have in the description above and try to apply my process of parts-fitting to your own project. Good luck, make a video when done!

  • what website did you get the stuff off of

  • and if its a new bright what scale should it

  • what kind of truck should i get

  • i have a new bright ford f 150 and i made a snow plow out of lisens place its a scale size 1/14 and took it apart and im putting a new motor in it and its from rc planet will it make it stronger it about 15 bucks and its regular battery is a 6 volt and i bought a 7.2 if i put the negative wire to negative and the positive wire to the negative will it work please write back

  • @shufflekingster

If you wire a higher voltage battery into your truck it will either have more power or burn out the controller board. I wouldn't recommend trying to get much out of a 1/14th scale toy truck. Use it how it is until you can save up and get something a little bigger and stronger to customize.

  • was it a new bright and also how did you make it faster

  • @shufflekingster

As I discuss in the videos in the description above: The body is a Nikko and the rest is one-of-a-kind custom built.

  • isnt it faster the shovel yer drive way

  • Hey not sure if you can help me. I have a E-maxx with twin titans in it. How does your truck have so much torque and traction? Thanks.

  • @EtzkornPulling

I can give you the short answers to those questions: I'm getting the torque from massive gearing - check out my videos in the description to see how I have two transmissions set up.

The traction comes from the weight (nearly 15lbs) and from the locked rear differential.

  • @froshmasta Also would it help to put in a spool in the rear (don't wanna take apart the front). I wanna use a spool so I can take it in and out. Is this going to help with traction?

  • @EtzkornPulling

The spool would definitely be the way to go. I locked my rear diff with a bunch of tar-like goop and it works awesome. Without the rear locked it would probably just spin all day.

  • man this is awesome

  • finaly some one plawen snow

  • he is plowing his driveway. 6 inches at a time. rofl

  • i want one now

  • did u get a kit to make that truck or did u just take parts from other trucks and put them together?

  • very very cool:)

  • @cocorocks100

    Thanks!

  • Thats nice you made the plow yourself?

  • @PUJARTIAGO77

I did indeed. Check the video description for videos about the construction of the truck and plow.

  • Is that 4wd?

  • @brendondeere2000

It sure is. I don't think it would move any snow if it wasn't.

  • By far the best way to remove snow that i have ever seen.

  • @yoshimura41891

    Thanks!

  • i just made mine able to lift and lower probably angle from remote soon

  • @outdoorsman310

    Excellent, keep at it!

  • how many volt is it

  • @dreadnaught6399

I'm just running regular 7.2v stick packs in it. Thanks for watching!

  • Bad ass how did u make it

  • @Jayclmnt

Check out the links in the video description.

  • Thats one way to snow plow your drive way if u dont have a snow plow for a big truck.

  • @LifeisgoodinVermont

It's mostly good for having some winter fun but it will clear a few inches of snow here and there. Thanks for watching!

  • whats the plow made of?

  • @outdoorsman310

    Thin steel.

Check out the video links in the description to see details about the truck and plow construction.

  • @froshmasta thanks, is it galvanized? thats what mines made of. galvanized steel

  • @outdoorsman310

I think it was really cheaply/thinly galvanized. I don't even remember where I got it from originally.

  • Nice job dude, But you should try taking a servo apart and removing the limiters in it and make a winch out of it so you can raise and lower the plow on comand i did it with my old e-maxx and everyone who seen it loved it.

  • @mime111111

    Thanks,

I've thought about using the winch approach but the setup I'm using lifts the plow enough for me. Someday I might make a winch just for the fun of having a winch on the front bumper of a rig though.

  • how many HMz's is that

  • BAHAHAHA!!! I WANT ONE!! :-) Brilliant !

  • @djmedic2008

    Thanks, dude!

  • lol fun until you drive it into the street and it gets run ova

  • @IMAFunnyMan97

I've been running R/C stuff for 20 years and haven't had one run over yet... But that sure is something we in the hobby generally try to avoid :)

  • my lazy ass would sit on my porch and do my driveway like that...lowkey

  • @MidgetMax714

sounds like we're thinking on the same frequency :)

  • Nice plow

  • LOL , got a have list.

  • @hangemhigh2000

I'll have a video with detail about the truck and plow coming out soon so maybe that will help you to build your own version.

  • come do my drive way! we just got a metre and a half in 2 days! (london ontario)

  • @TJDeadkid

Haha, I could put the truck in that much snow and then come back in spring to look for it :)

  • your a loser for blowing your money on this but thats sick how much snow it moves

  • @sledneckstyy Yeah, he's wasting money that could be used for alcohol, or stupid jewelery, or stupid ass gold teeth, or...........

  • hahaha i would do the whole driv way just for fun hahha thats awsome

  • is it waterproff

  • @MCgangsta11

Strictly speaking it is NOT waterproof. The ESC and Receiver are shielded from snow that might be thrown up from the tires but nothing is sealed up against real water.

  • @MCgangsta11 how did u make that??

  • @runnynose6775 im not talking to u dumbass

  • Neat truck :) Where'd you get it?

  • Dude that's awesome...

  • GO FORD

  • where did you get your plow at who manufactures them

  • my battery and chip system is broken do you know where i can get a new one

  • where did you get the motor for the plow

  • The plow is operated by a spare servo and the third channel on my TQ3 radio. If you look in my other videos for the one called "R/C scale snow plow lift servo" you can see the servo mounted in the front of the truck chassis and how it operates.

  • thanks and check out my videos i just started last night

  • im doing it now but there are only 2 outlets for a servo one for steering and the other to make the truck go what do i do

  • Unfortunately it sounds like you have a 2 channel radio system. Without an extra channel to operate the plow lift you will have to do it by hand or something. Make do with what you have as best you can and save up for some better equipment. I'm using a traxxas tq3 radio system. I got it on ebay for about $60.

  • i just have a little new bright buggy im saving up money for a new rc truck what is the best and cheapest brand you know

  • Now thats funny! Cool but funny..

  • Beats shoveling!

    5/5 for the car!

  • i will buy that from you

  • nice, i am surprised how well it was moving the snow, would have figured the tires would break loose. Looks like alot of fun!

  • LOL! Thats neat!

  • this is great! :D

  • war did he buy that toy from

  • You clearly missed the post just below where he says he can do it with one battery in about 25 minutes. Way to go.

  • what chassis or truck is this, real nice man

  • From the video description:

"Truck is a bunch of t-maxx parts, some aluminum, and some ingenuity. "

It's a one-off custom truck. Check out my other videos and you'll even find a video showing some of the building of the truck.

  • could you imagine how long it would take to finish your driveway? That thing is nice

  • I have actually done the whole driveway with this truck where there was light snow. I can do it on one battery charge in about 25 minutes. No it's not a replacement for shoveling, but it sure is a fun toy to play with.

  • thats bad ass

  • is that truck custom made or if not were could i get 1. it works good though

  • where can i get one of those?

  • really cool i gotta make one for my car :)

  • dude thats sweet and i thought that red van was going to run it over lol

  • that things got some massive torque!

  • it works

  • I assume you water jetted or laser cut the frame and used motors gearboxes body and tires and others from a store?

  • I hate to let you down but The frame is just some aluminum angle that I cut with a hacksaw and used some M3 size bolts and some rivets to hold sections of it together.

Most mechanical parts are used t-maxx bits. Tires are from an HPI savage and the body is off a Nikko toy-grade R/C truck.

  • Hey the simplest way to do something is always the best i would have probably do the same laser cutting or waterjetting takes to much effort :) good job on your car it does look prretty good

  • how long did it take to do the hole thing? lol

  • Nice plow.

  • one question what is the rear axle from?

  • Rear axle is t-maxx suspension that I locked together to be a solid axle and then suspended it as such.

  • do you really get joy out of this like wtf buy a quad or something

  • It would appear as though you have already made too many frivolous purchases yourself, as you can no longer afford punctuation. I think I'll learn from your mistake and stick with what I've built instead of buying something.

  • no u do it from the warmth of your home.. :D

  • really cause i like to do it from the warmth of my own truck and make money

  • hey how kinda tires u got:)?

  • If you're asking what kind of tires they are: HPI Savage tires.

  • i was wondering what the length and height of the plow was

  • wer u get da truck from

  • were can u get this?

  • that a e-maxx??..careful i fried mine in the snow

  • As per the video description:

Truck is a bunch of t-maxx parts, some aluminum, and some ingenuity. It weighs in at about 15lbs and has fulltime 4x4 with independent front suspension and a solid axle in the rear as well as a rear limited slip diff.

  • theres 2 types of emaxxes...model 6805 and 6806......one of em is completely waterproof....

  • so... how long did it take to plow the drive way with thing :P?

  • I think it took about half an hour. Of course it would only have been 10 minutes with a shovel but what's the fun in that?

  • wow thats alot better than mine

  • this is so cool. good job

  • hey can i buy that from you

  • just a few more hours and I can get the car out ...........

  • is that hing worth the time to make does it look cool

  • pretty cool

  • hey could you tell me where you get that stuff

  • sweet plow can u give me some pointers on where to buy that truck and get the plow are how to build that plow thanks man

  • lol that thing actually does a pretty good job !

you should put some wings on the plow or turn it into a box so you don't get all the spill off.

  • i have a t maxx and it will have a plow very soon thanks nice vid

  • If you want to be able to plow properly you need to have an electric setup.

The same goes for rc drifting, you need power down low, as you can't necessarily take advantage of the power band given by engines.

Your T-Maxx should be fine, but it won't plow too well.

  • Iussally race it... i ment to say i would change my hpi savage because my motor is illegal to race at my local track they let me race it but no ti n the big races... i also have a Revo 3.3 and a losi 8 truggy. and some electrice the stampede by traxxat and a e-maxx

  • now thats rc snow plowing!!! nice truck!!!

  • dude thats a sweet plow can u give me some pointers on where to buy that truck and get the plow are how to build that plow thanks man

  • Like the description says the truck is put together out of a bunch of parts. It's a one of a kind. you can't buy it anywhere. The plow is a piece of tin bent to plow-shape and then attached with a hinge to the front of the truck. As detailed in one of my other videos it is raised and lowered by a servo.

  • fuck 15 pounds lOl

  • dude.. thats so tight... have fun and clean the driveway.. from the front window!! lol.... bad ass

  • u know after a while of doin that the rc gets weaker and weaker!

  • a fter a while of using them at all they get weaker and weaker .. its called wear and tear!!!

  • That or the batteries are just dieing! LOL!

  • Ya and motocross who give a shit? If you only have 1 in. you can plow from the front window lmfao

  • and battery life :P

  • lol nice

  • very cool dude I love it

  • Frosh. Did You bend the front metal skidplate down and then bend the end and screw from the skidplate to the plow and just have a cable with a winch?

  • I didn't alter the shape of the skidplate at all. I drilled a couple holes and mounted a hinge down near the bottom of it. The hinge is the pivot for the plow and it's lifted by a servo mounted in the front of the frame. look at my other videos, I have a short one of the lift servo in action that might help you visualize what's going on there.

  • that's great, you can clean your driveway from inside, then drive off. that's cool

  • what kind of truck is it

  • its ford....

  • were do you get a servo

  • Thats awesome but will it wreck it? I have a nitro truck.....

  • no it wont wreck it

  • Thats awesome dude. You should sell the plows on ebay and show the video as an example. I would buy one !

  • The plow isn't fancy enough to charge money for and would have to be custom fit to every different truck anyway. I just hope that my videos inspire others to invent and build things like this of their own.

  • i Also have a RC plow. Its a basic TWin force with some small mod like locked diff and chains. Is the plow made off ALU or Steal?

  • The plow is only steel. I didn't have any sheet aluminum handy when I got the urge to build.

  • What kind of thickness steel did you use? Because i tried aluminum and its a little to bendy.

  • nice job, i wonder if the guys in the truck were jammin out &smoking their cigs. LOL HA.HA.HA .OL

  • Awsome man looks very fun You got to hook me up with one for my revo lol

  • Thanks! it is lots of fun. I'm not sure how a Revo would do plowing snow without the slow-speed torque of electric power. Probably still fun to try though.

  • thats amazing but they almost got T-BONED by that mini van lol

  • nice scale video..you even have people inside the cab in perfect scale too!

  • lol did you do the whole driveway?

  • Yessir I did. I often to the whole driveway with my plowtruck when there's only light snow.

  • that's amazing! you must have been bored :S lol It plows really acurately

  • Little guy almost got smoked by that Red van.
