@asymmetricsymetry actually it is. It's from "The most gigantic lying mouth of all time" official Radiohead DVD. You gotta see this. I was watching it everyday for sometime.
In the beginning it seems clear that they are their own person but towards the end I cannot help but to think they are the same person.. "Where I end and where you start. Where you, you left me alone" It sounds like he is describing that point in which addiction has taken complete control and the actual person that he is (or WAS) "dies"
Thom is an amazing human being. He knows something extraordinary in life. this song conveys that Life is eternal. that is why we should be careful living in this present life.
Thom is an amazing human being. He knows something extraordinary in life. this song conveys that Life is eternal. i wish to meet him and chat about life.
@No1Significant1 You've successfully captured the feelings we have when an addiction starts.
You missed the part where you get to a point where you put too much faith in drugs (or whatever other addiction it may be), which also happens to be the same time you realize how little of yourself you actually are when the addiction does take hold of you. After that, it's lock and key. You try and try to escape, but the only form you find is when you partake in your addiction.
Strong video, really made me feel things through my guts. The bunny's appearance makes one smile. I appreciate this video, b/c a person always feels like there are several identities within him and it's hard to know what and how to live one's life...
@Varencilator from what i understand of it, the one at the end who fell, died i believe, was the one who was injected. the other one was mad because they seemingly had a close relationship of some sort. I'm not fully understanding the bunny at the beginning, unless it represents his rather positive side that comes out only when he dies because it was trapped inside him while alive
@Varencilator It's a song about addiction. The things that happen throughout the music video, along with the actual song, represent what happens when you get that "high" when you experience whatever your addiction may be. The person who fell at the end represents the point when your addiction finally takes over your life. The reason the other guy was angry was because the former version of "yourself" is never good - always bad; something ruled by something other than itself.
@therealWesley Very insightfull. This album got me through hreoine detox & revovery...very emotional thing for me, to see this video done so increadibly well;(....
I've always given one interpretation to this song: it's a speech from God to Mankind. If you read it this way, it makes sense and it's really, really deep...
@hanl9889 not at least officially from radiohead, but still fans can make a slight official video which this comes from the The Most gigantic lying mouth of all time
i tried it once and i have to say its very evil it gives you a sense of peeking into a world that disguises itself as normal and harmless but ive seen too much of its real face to be fooled. thats why the man at the end laughs and dies because he will no longer experience that pain and addiction while the new guy knows he will suffer the same fate
This, along with In Limbo, Knives Out, You and Who's Army, How To Dissappear Completely and Reckoner, is up there, my favourite Radiohead songs. Among those, it is the most inspiring one. It never gets dull. I love Thom for this.
@mackles mm..actually this video was made BY thom (and of course Stanley Donwood etc..) for "The Most Gigantic Lying Mouth Of All Time" DVD, released BY radiohead, so..

Well. I don´t know where you guys are from but, here, where I end its pretty well accepted. At least in the radio fans that I know. Anyway, hail to the thief it´s one of the bests. Punchup...Sit down, there there, etc.
i listen to tons of radiohead, along with all the other stuff posted on my youtube profile info (if that interests you). i just find this song to be decent, not underrated in any way.
There's a gap in between There's a gap where we meet Where I end and you begin And I'm sorry for us The dinosaurs roam the earth The sky turns green Where I end and you begin I'm up in the clouds I'm up in the clouds And I can't and I can't come down I can watch and not take part Where I end and where you start Where you, you left me alone You left me alone X'll mark the place Like the parting of the waves Like a house falling in the sea In the sea
I love Radiohead it hurts me to see no other band have reached their leave angers me ...it shows the failing not of young bands, but of an industry, that wont let young artist grow artisticly.
This is probably my favourite song from Hail to the Thief. Well, at least today. It changes all the time, cause Hail to the Thief is just so great, so many amazing songs.

If there is a new album on the way then there that's fantastic. You've possibly just made my day with that news. Great!
"In terms of the band, we feel way more empowered in terms of our art and what were doing. We have been rehearsing for the last four weeks, for this new record.
