@IndependentForPres thats because the base price only includes the basic boat- does not include options, taxes (vary per state) and shipping. Boats made in SC have to be shipped to dealers! Visit a boat show and enjoy :)
Yes, the same boats are built in France for the R.O.W. market. The factories and production methods are identical. The First series, Oceanis 54, Oceanis 58 (and small boats 21-28') are built only in France. We import those models in to the U.S. for our customers. I hope you are enjoying our videos! -Barrett

Beneteau has a factory in Marion, South Carolina, USA that produces sailboats from 31 to 50' for the North American market. The 50 is the largest boat built there. the only components that come from France is the curved wood kit for the interior details. -Barrett
