If you saw these guys in concert, you'd know the drummer has a real drum set for a lot of their songs. He's a really good drummer too, so quit bagging on him. Also try playing a bongo and making it sound good, you'll see it's a lot more than just a few taps at critical points in the beat.

This is ungodly awesome. I am so sorely tempted to buy the album. :P I am a diehard Metallica fan and was in love with Apocalyptica when they came out. Adding such a tympanic percussion is just sheer brilliance. It adds something that wasn't necessarily missing but certainly adds a unique flair! Rock on guys!
