Anime: Kekkaishi. Also a Manga. The two Wolves/Dogs(Wolves=Cooler) are fighting. The darker one, Kouya, is a spirit dog/wolf, like the silver/white one Madarao. They were both killed on a mountain. They both lived on a mountain, then humans came. Madarao starved to death and Kouya, out of anger, attacked a human. He was killed. The collar keeps Madarao's power in keep and such.
