Why all the harshness towards Ricki? No, she's not a brilliant dancer, but she can dance pretty well. Whether or not you find her entertaining is subjective, but she moves extremely well.
@kaboey888 He's won....3...out of the 8 he's been on the show. Yeah, that's every season for sure. I'm ecstatic for JR and Karina that they won, they definitely deserved it. But this show is not in any way, shape, or form about "How many times has this pro won the trophy?" It's about the celebrity. Period. I honestly can't stand it when people vote for reasons like that.
Let's just say I will maks-ing (hahaha bad pun I'll stop with those) out my votes for Rob...Derek has gotten lucky with many of his partners (Nicole and Jennifer...just saying) but Rob has really made great strides this season....I haven't been that impressed with Ricki as the judges have and JR with the soldier card is getting old. Rob has prgressed so well
@jorgeluisguzman I am SO glad I'm not the only one that feels this way. Even my dad said, "I think JR should win because he's been through so much, and his story." It's not called "Let's Decide Who Has the Saddest Story with the Stars", it's "DANCING"! And yes, so many soldiers are injured like this every day but people only know his name because of his (not in an offensive way) visual scars. There are also a lot of soldiers emotionally traumatized for the rest of their lives.

Every celeb has a story of life’s struggles of leading to their careers. His story is what he is today. What else was/is there to talk about? That’s how people know him. It's b/c of his tragedy story. Following his recovery he became a MOTIVATIONAL speaker.

The surprise was the judges they found out Rob's a better dancer than Ricki...When Carrie Ann said, Rob wasn't fake dancing, she was talking about Hope wasn't really dancing....IMO, Ricki have been fake dancing, too. She really didn't do much in her Argentine Tango, The Samba & The Cha-Cha-Cha. JR was hurt and you can clearly see he was moving gently on his ankle.

Yeah, Rob's footwork has definitly inprove, he's better than Ricky. She cannot handle fast footwork that you have to do in latin dances. I still think JR is the best dancer overall. I hope his ankle heals quick so he's able to do anything and get that Mirrorball like he deserves!
Maks & Hope were incredible and for the life of me, I don’t understand why the Judges gave Maks & Hope the 4 pts! I’d love to take a 40 lb paddle and bop the Judges on their heads to wake up or play dead temporarily - LOL!
So which was it? EVERYBODY at this level is SO GOOD (Bruno) or we really get to see who's good and who's not so good (Carrie Ann).

I so called that!!! Rod was amazing!! When he came out on the floor I just couldn't help but smile and I just got pulled into the dance like none of the others did. Not to say they weren't good, but the energy Rob brought was AMAZING!!!
I am so happy to see Rob and Cheryl make it to the finals. What an amazing thing to hear that Rob LOVES to dance! After hearing that, it just occured to me that maybe the direction Rob should take his career is toward acting! He could be the next Swayze or Travolta on the big screen!!!
julianne hasn't been on the show in 5 seasons and derek wasnt on for 1 season. what was your excuse then? the houghs have talent, class and personality. they are very likable and gorgeous dancers. and I'm sick of hearing ppl crying about them being "favorites". they're the best at what they do. simple as that. move on.

I love Derek, but in this dance I thought I suddenly saw why he had been dancing in hold a lot this season: it's because Ricki is much more graceful when they are, brought along by the ease of her partner's movements. Left alone, you could see how little her hips move and how little she bends her knees!
For the first time, I think I am seeing the possibility that Derek might not win this season. I hope I am wrong. :-(

Especially when they gave to props to Rob who really, really did well (you would be able to tell if you took any dancing lessons yourself). i guess people are tired of seeing Derek win, but the show really isn't about the pro dancers, it's about the stars. And for me, Ricki takes the cake. She has really come so far, overcome so many difficulties. But elimination-wise? I've got a pretty good feeling Hope&Maks aren't gonna make it to the finals. J.R. and Karina are truly amazing, and if his ankle hadn't gotten hurt, he would've been all over this cha-cha-cha. Good job rob&cheryl, but i just feel like Cheryl's doing everything.
First, before the relay, I thought that It will be Hope in last and Rob in thrid place... and whoever will win it, although I wanted Rob to win (ok, Cheryl ^^). Then, I saw the dance, got confused cuz Rob did such a great job, so I though if he would be second.... but who will be third? Than, (I missed the judges comments -.-) I heard the points for fourth, which didn't surprise me.... third, I was somehow shocked with JR in third and than..... the HUGE surprise of Rob winning! Rob FTW!!!!
I love ricki and Derek, but it would be great for the underdog Rob to win, Cheryl hasn't won since season 3 so it would be great for her to win. Karina or maks hasn't won at all but I'm going for ricki and Derek, but I won't be surprised if rob wins!
@bbllllllaaa I've done ballroom and latin dancing and Derek is amazing but NOT RICKI. She cannot do fast footwork especially in latin dancing. In her Argentine tango she didn't do any footwork. She CANNOT keep up with Derek, he did ALL the footwork, lifting and spinning her while all she did was pose and try to look cute. Look at JR's and Rob's footwork and it's very good, especially JR who's very precise and fast enough to keep up with a professional. And it''s harder to LEAD.
Thank you codebear4 to let me watch yesterday's (Nov.14, 2011) DWTS. I really enjoyed watching them both individually the final 4 and the Cha Cha Cha Relay. It was wonderful watching them. Will be watching tonight's tomorrow.
The issue with Hope is that she seems like she isn't enjoying herself in the competition, which is probably why maks seems miserable this season. Last season maks was a lot more relaxed and excited when he was dancing kristie.
It is time for Hope to go home. Her stance is still awkward and seldom registers grace in her routines. At least, Hope can be proud that she has been a better dancer than Chaz. Rob is the dark horse and I don't mind to see him bring the mirrorball home.
@MissSophiaStyle I dunno. I thought Ricki was letting Derek do all the dancing. In previous episodes, she would pull her weight but now I think she is just too tired! :/
WTF!! all damn night the judges attacked hope and maks! they did not deserve such low fucking scores. it is like the judges have a vendetta against them and have pre-decided who they want in the finals. ridiculous
Hope and Maks are so screwed now it's not even funny. =/ It was a great try, but time for them to go home. Rob did very well tonight! I'm impressed! I'm a tad annoyed with the overscoring for Ricki though.. and I'm hoping JR won't get screwed over for his ankle problem. Who knows though.. but judging by the influence of all, I get the feeling he'll make it through. But he's really gotta heal his ankle quick before next week comes. That way he can stomp his competitors and take the Mirrorball!
I think the numerical scoring (not the ranking) was unfair because none of them deserved less than a 7. A 4 for Hope? Really?? A 6 for JR??? Even more insulting! Why couldn't they have assigned a 9 or 7? Just saying...
I liked everybody! Considering they had 3 dances to learn this wk,and Hope and JR were hurting. When I was listening to the judges,all I could think of was,how all these excellent professional dancers must get tired of being "scored" by those guys.(with maybe the exception of Len,bcs he's at least a genuine ballroom judge) The pro's could dance them under the table,any day of the wk! I could see how Maks was kind of taking it with a grain of salt...which he should.

You need to go back and watch your DVR..Maks was pushing Hope all over the floor....If it weren't for those pants making it look like she even remotely cared about shaking her hips...She looked like a rag doll out there with Maks pushing her this way, that way and then some. Go back especially on the part where he picks her up off the floor and they cha cha down the dance floor OMG you can see in his arms pushing her where he wants her to be!

i guess people are tired of seeing Derek win, but the show really isn't about the pro dancers, it's about the stars. And for me, Ricki takes the cake. She has really come so far, overcome so many difficulties. But elimination-wise? I've got a pretty good feeling Hope&Maks aren't gonna make it to the finals. J.R. and Karina are truly amazing, and if his ankle hadn't gotten hurt, he would've been all over this cha-cha-cha. Good job rob&cheryl, but i just feel like Cheryl's doing everything.

First, before the relay, I thought that It will be Hope in last and Rob in thrid place... and whoever will win it, although I wanted Rob to win (ok, Cheryl ^^). Then, I saw the dance, got confused cuz Rob did such a great job, so I though if he would be second.... but who will be third? Than, (I missed the judges comments -.-) I heard the points for fourth, which didn't surprise me.... third, I was somehow shocked with JR in third and than..... the HUGE surprise of Rob winning! Rob FTW!!!!

I love ricki and Derek, but it would be great for the underdog Rob to win, Cheryl hasn't won since season 3 so it would be great for her to win. Karina or maks hasn't won at all but I'm going for ricki and Derek, but I won't be surprised if rob wins!

@bbllllllaaa I've done ballroom and latin dancing and Derek is amazing but NOT RICKI. She cannot do fast footwork especially in latin dancing. In her Argentine tango she didn't do any footwork. She CANNOT keep up with Derek, he did ALL the footwork, lifting and spinning her while all she did was pose and try to look cute. Look at JR's and Rob's footwork and it's very good, especially JR who's very precise and fast enough to keep up with a professional. And it''s harder to LEAD.

Thank you codebear4 to let me watch yesterday's (Nov.14, 2011) DWTS. I really enjoyed watching them both individually the final 4 and the Cha Cha Cha Relay. It was wonderful watching them. Will be watching tonight's tomorrow.

The issue with Hope is that she seems like she isn't enjoying herself in the competition, which is probably why maks seems miserable this season. Last season maks was a lot more relaxed and excited when he was dancing kristie.

It is time for Hope to go home. Her stance is still awkward and seldom registers grace in her routines. At least, Hope can be proud that she has been a better dancer than Chaz. Rob is the dark horse and I don't mind to see him bring the mirrorball home.

This is my ranking:
Rob & Cheryl - 10 (awesome!)
JR & Karina - 8 (great rhythm, would've done better without the strained ankle)
Ricki & Derek - 6 (would have been an 8 but i didn't see much hip action in ricki at all, it was very clean and precise though)
Hope & Maks - 4 (just boxy and awkward, i love them but i just don't think this is enough to take them to the finale)

Hope and Maks are so screwed now it's not even funny. =/ It was a great try, but time for them to go home. Rob did very well tonight! I'm impressed! I'm a tad annoyed with the overscoring for Ricki though.. and I'm hoping JR won't get screwed over for his ankle problem. Who knows though.. but judging by the influence of all, I get the feeling he'll make it through. But he's really gotta heal his ankle quick before next week comes. That way he can stomp his competitors and take the Mirrorball!

I think the numerical scoring (not the ranking) was unfair because none of them deserved less than a 7. A 4 for Hope? Really?? A 6 for JR??? Even more insulting! Why couldn't they have assigned a 9 or 7? Just saying...

I liked everybody! Considering they had 3 dances to learn this wk,and Hope and JR were hurting. When I was listening to the judges,all I could think of was,how all these excellent professional dancers must get tired of being "scored" by those guys.(with maybe the exception of Len,bcs he's at least a genuine ballroom judge) The pro's could dance them under the table,any day of the wk! I could see how Maks was kind of taking it with a grain of salt...which he should.

You need to go back and watch your DVR..Maks was pushing Hope all over the floor....If it weren't for those pants making it look like she even remotely cared about shaking her hips...She looked like a rag doll out there with Maks pushing her this way, that way and then some. Go back especially on the part where he picks her up off the floor and they cha cha down the dance floor OMG you can see in his arms pushing her where he wants her to be!
