  • oooohhhhhhh MY EYES it HURtssssssssSSs

  • Infiniti to make a new Q and show Lexus hiw it's really done

  • all that Bright Wood Look Accenting is definetly not original....has to be a Dash Kit someone added to the car,and personally i think it looks quite tacky, the Q's were always nice cars they competed with the LS but ultimately the LS Won.

  • Among my all-time favorites. I owned a 1990 and 1992. Incredibly underrated. I run q45 dot org.

  • I remember my Aunt had one of these back in the 90's. I don't know the exact year it was though.

  • I like this car and I think it's still impressive, even by today's standards.

  • Beautiful and rare car. Wish they still made em.

  • lol I love how you kept holding down the loose fake wood, i probably would have done the same hehe So why did it take 3 times for it to finally start up? This car is really freaking ugly tho. Back in 93 I would have gladly took an LS400 or Legend over this

  • @xoquixxoqafxo

IDK... I remember the 1 we had in hand few yrs back & it had a noisy fuel pump, & a whiney torque converter when going in reverse @ cold temp. With similar mileage too. So I'd guess something in the fuel system. The LS & Legend were the better looking cars 1.

Its a shame Nissan's don't have the bullet proof reliability that Toyota and Honda's have. Its mostly average and way below average. Although the G37/G35 has good reliability and its probably the only Nissan I like too lol

  • @xoquixxoqafxo

Yeah the G35/G37 is all I really like. Not only cause of reliability but the only vehicle in the lineup that appeals to me. Little rockets too as it runs as fast or faster than an SHO

  • @xoquixxoqafxo All Infinitis have bulletproof reliability. Some Nissans do as well, but it can be hit or miss. Their trucks are problem areas, while cars like the Maxima and Altima are good. Back to the Infinitis- they are widely considered the most reliable luxury cars made today, and are right below Honda and Toyota (and Scion) on Consumer Reports' list. Who's at the bottom? Why, German and British brands, as it has always been since the dawn of time!

  • Are you stupid? Honda and Toyota both are making crap now days, The newest gen Accord is a piece of junk has ALOT of problems from uncomfortable seat, excessive oil consumption, eats brakes like no tomorrow, and so on.

And Toyota's are just death traps, no way in this earth would i ride in one, much less purchase one lol.

Honda, and Toyota both are nothing like they use to be, Nissan has the best quality in its class and more features standard. Accord and Camry has nothing on the Maxima.

Infiniti's are nice but I hate Nissan's mainstream models bc they use CVT's. Their reliability is mostly average for their products, consumer reports has the data for that. You are wrong about standard features, I hate how Nissan forces you to group packages together if you want a certain thing... like if I wanted a sport package I'd have to get the premium and technology packages so it raises the price substantially.

  • @xoquixxoqafxo I beg to differ, CVT is an amazing technology, your always in the power band, and a turbo 3.5 with CVT is a beast, no boost lag just pure acceleration.

Also Nissan Maxima is best in class, comes standard with push button start, moonroof, dual zone climate, bluetooth.Maxima also has many features car in its class doesn't have, like rear power shade, rear climate and audio controls.

Nissan is #1 when it come to technology, gotta love their 200hp 180TQ QR25, and the 350HP VQ37VHR

  • @noriceformeplz

If you are a driving enthusiast there is something wrong with you. Purist hate CVTs, The constant engine droning at red-line is un-natural and annoying. Since manuals are becoming fewer and fewer a dual clutch auto is the transmission of choice for purists if they can't get a manual. CVTs are for people who don't care for driving. They should be saved for boring hybrids. I hate how Nissan calls the Maxima a 4DSC yet the only tranny is a stupid CVT.

  • @xoquixxoqafxo Agreed,i hate the constant Drone.....i like to hear the engine rpm change when a gear changes.

  • @xoquixxoqafxo Nissan is every bit as bulletproof as any Toyota or Honda, perhaps even more so. I have two 94 G50's (Q45 for those who do not know) and have never had to do anything other than routine maintenance. The 93 and earlier did have problems with chain guides though...hope you switched out for metal chain guides

  • @xoquixxoqafxo you know nothing of nissan then.

  • did you know that Q45s were known as Cimas in Japan?

  • @KingEastCoast

    Yeah I 4got that,

Now that u mention it, I recall running into the Cima name 4 yrs ago when I was doing some research over the suspension parts for the 94 we had in hand

  • @KingEastCoast Actually the G50 body style is known as the President in Japan, the YG33 Body style 97-02 is the same as the Cima

  • interesting design

  • those had V8s??? I'll be damned..

  • @JakeDaSnakeFilms

The Infiniti J30 was the Midsize RWD V6 they had below this.

  • @JakeDaSnakeFilms verrrry well made v8s very potent and lots of people put these in other cars for racing
