I can do the same thing in my Mustang and I SHIFT - but that was a badass donut. I'm probably a bigger pussy because I only do it when I need new tires, $180 Pirellis are too much for me to do this I KNOW you pay way more for tires than that. Actually dude, it just depends on the driver. I have a 6 speed supercharged GTO with cam and heads, my brother has an auto GTO on a 175 shot of nitrous with cams and head. Were both on stock bottom end We have the same amount of HP. The only difference between our cars is our paint and wheel/tire setup. And I walk him everytime down the 1/4. In other words. Real drivers drive stick shift. Unless it's a built slap shift tranny with the soul purpose of being a drag car. And plus, stick shift is so

He does have a better converter. We both have 12 bolt rear ends, new shafts, and he has a new converter. I don't remember what it is but he had to get it b/c of how much power the drivetrain ate up. But I still disagree. I have been racing since I was 12. And I have always been faster with a manual. If your quick enough, it is possible to shift a manual quicker than(or just as fast) as an auto. Btw. I have a Monster stage 4 clutch/flywheel kit and a B&M short shifter.
