If you were on a tight budget, but at the same time looking for quality what shotguns would you be looking at. Not only the make but also the model. I don't want to throw good money after bad. I'll leave that to the politicians.

I know what it takes big daddy! I work on an armored truck hauling coin around 5 days a week, its heavy and lately in MN it has been 100 out easily and 70 to 80% humidity! I feel your pain! GET SOME!

I love my Benelli Nova Tactical. It's a short 18 1/2" pump, but lord it does the job as advertized. I've taken it on hikes and so on, had some dirt get where it shouldn't, and this thing has yet to disappoint me. I remember when I went out buying my first long guns for myself (besides ones my daddy got me growing up), and I asked my pop what to get, and after going through my choices, he just kept repeating - Benelli, if it's made by them it's hard to beat. He has been a gunsmith for years.

You've got the coolest shotguns. I have to settle for a run-of-the mill Mossberg 500.
