if you would like to know the best way to net a fish, watch a TV fishing show were they use a net. They ALWAYS net from the head. The best way is to slide the fish on top of the water into the net.
I have a few buddies that need to watch this, they are real blunderers with the net! We always net the big ones, but suffer some criticism from those who choose to lip every bass. I ask, why lose a lunker? That's what nets are for right?
