@DarthRushy I didn't like Lapti Nek. I found it to be slow and pretty boring. Also, realistically speaking, it would never distract everyone from Ula who was trying to strangle Jabba. Jedi Rocks had a lot more energy, and showed that the performers really got into their jobs (if they're gonna do it for a living they might as well). It made for a much more believable distraction. Plus I find it kind of funny when the newly added alien basically bellows at the screen XD

@DarthRushy Thank you. I had a feeling I was spelling it wrong. The Lapti Nek music was ok, but I just found the actual singing and dancing to be pretty dull. I agree, the original Sy Snootles puppet was cheesy. She kept making the exact same motion and her lip-syncing was off. Yeah, it was kinda funny, but I just found the CGI Sy to be a lot more lively and energetic. She moved more realistically as well. Plus there's the newly added alien which I mentioned. Now he was fun to watch

Boba's voice: Since he's a clone it makes more sense for him to have the same voice as Jango. No real big deal though

Sarlacc: I think the beak looks a lot cooler. Before there really wasn't much to look at. Now we can see it actually eating them

Wampa: They fixed it. It's better

Han vs. Greedo: Don't care. Makes no difference to me

Jabba: New one's more detailed, but still looks different from Jedi

@DarthRushy Well, it's not like the Sarlacc's teeth really visibly did anything in the original version either. Perhaps they were simply meant to move its victims down into the pit. If something/someone were to get caught on the teeth it would also make it easy for the beak to engulf them. Granted the tentacles could do that as well. Incidentally I believe they also added a few more tentacles to it. Again, I agree, the new Wampa is the better one

It shows that the performers really get into their jobs (they might as well considering they do it for a living), and it's a believable distraction from Ula's (sp?) attempt at strangling Jabba. Imho, the original song was kind of boring, and would never distract all the performers from what Ula was doing

When I watch "Return of the Jedi", I watch the opening until just before this scene and put the original version "bonus disc" in for "Lapti Nek" and watch until the sail barge blows up. Then I go back to the Special Edition until just after the Death Star blows up and return to the original. Basically, I avoid 99.5% of the changes. I'm not watching this "Jedi Rocks" Showbiz Pizza Place stuff.
