the bullet wounds look extra meaty in this film, shame there isnt more of them. plus the end explosion using optical effects looked kinda shit. shane black was paid a record amount for the script of this film, and uses the awesome tony scott sheen and colour filters and extreme close ups as seen in beverly hills cop 2 and revenge starring kevin costner

THIS MOVIE WAS 10X BETTER THAN COP OUT, THE OTHER GUYS, RUSH HOUR FRANCHISE, BASICALLY BETTER THAN ANY BUDDY-COP FLICK THAT CAME OUT AFTER 95. SOME THAT CAME OUT IN THE EARLY 2000S WERE GOOD TOO LIKE BAD BOYS 2, NATIONAL SECURITY, ETC.

One of the most underrated action films of the early 90's. I think it was too bleak for people and that's why it's over looked.
