what a unique and "different" instrument, she has....in this genre called gospel, even the most devoted "church folk" can get a little bored and disconnected when so many of the singers are screaming and hollering. But she infuses these songs with a "different" approach that is so refreshing. And the woman can just flat out sing, no doubt. Im so proud of her losing all the weight, too. She looked amazing on the BET Honors program.
I don't know how anyone could sit there with there legs crossed and say they are in Christ Jesus, and not worship God after this.....
I will never take lightly what God has done, is doing and shall do in my life. This song is such a sweet smelling fragrance of worship to God in my opinion.

It has absolutley nothing to do with being saved, it is nothing but tradition. Its almost as crazy as women not wearing pants in the church, just crazy. @lesjoe08 That;s true but if you look at some Vintage COGIC you tube clips you can hardly tell that these events happened over 20 yrs ago. Those traditions of uniformity kept the message current. When you're wearing choir robes without earrings & make up & nicely cut hair, pictures can look as current in 2011 as it did in 1981. This is true in ART that is why you see Artist of the past of people even in nude. You can't tell whether it was taken in the 17th or 21st century. But don't go nude:-)

@jonesvj i have to be honest and agree..her voice wasn't amazing to me. I don't get impressed by runs and riffs...but her ministry and anointing OVERSHADOWED all of that...and then I GOT IT. I understood what she was trying to say in every song every appearance, every performance...
