  • Saw Reba open for him! How things change!

  • "Just In Case You Do" is, in my humble opinion, is one of the greatest and MOST powerful country songs ever composed, and the INCREDIBLE Ronnie Milsap does it such justice !

  • Gosh.....Ronnie,Merle,Conway,Dolly.......what happened to country nowadays? Its a far cry from what made it good!

  • Great singer!

  • MAN! THIS IS WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT! I wish I coulda experienced these types of concerts or performances! They dont do it like this anymore and that's a shame! Look how respectful everyone is! Now days it's all a drunken hell raisin screamin and cussin contest among the audiance and the performers! What the hell went wrong? It makes me sick! There's a time and place for that stuff

  • A great entertainer who's equally as comfortable singing pop or country. Thanks for posting!

  • NOTICE: Ronnie Milsap is coming out w/ "Country Again" July 26! "If You Don't Want Me to" will be released the 18th! Please spread the word everywhere!

  • Bonitas letras !!!

  • LOL my dad is the guitar player for Ronnie on his live shows it's crazy seeing my dad way back then

  • This kind of country music reminds me of grandma listened to back in the 70's cooking us biscuits and gravy with her cigarette dangling from her mouth. RIP Nana

  • @slicked25 I bet them biscuits & gravy was just as good as Ronnies music too huh? :D

  • Everyone who has had a #1 song on the country charts in the last 10-15 years needs to listen to this to know what country music really is and to know that they have destroyed a once great genre

    RIP Country soul

  • IT'S OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • great voice. if you like ronnie listen to kenny hinson sounds alot like ronnie. matter of fact kenny can sound like anybody he wants from merle haggard to george jones, and even ronnie milsap check him out .. listen to a song called call me gone by kenny hinson

  • Does anybody know what happened to Stephen Holt? Ronnies drummer was his band member for years.

  • Ronnie is just taking care of business! He is the man!

  • I miss those days of living in Nashville the 1970s were so cool Greg Hardy

  • Charlie Pride's version is THE classic version

  • Undoubtedly Dicky Overbey is playing the steel guitar in these song's !!!!!

I can recognize His style anywhere.Truly a Great Musician!!!

Ronnie alway's chooses great musicians for his band!

  • One of the best voices in country music ever!!! He's our favorite!!!

  • OMG!...thank you.....love ronnie milsap....great memories.....

  • Ronnie, my wife, and I were good friends during College. He always said she looked soooo good. Wonderful person and friend!!!!! Sing it Ronnie!!!!!!

  • I'm 28 and grew up listening to this legend and I have to admit that even though today's music may have good beats, its all the same....blah but back in the day, music was real and pure and I love oldies like this and Kenny Rogers...

  • Trey, I'm 47 and I love Ronnie Milsap. But when I was 17 I listened to only him. His set of pipes are the best ever, even today ! Keep up the good taste...

  • do no how many number 1s ronnie wrote 4 other people they count 2 so who has more now

  • @skeetert101010

I know he had 40 #1 hits. Incredible.

  • great songs. especially the second one. thanks for the upload!

  • Conway twitty has the most country hits, followed by george strait, then the great millsap.

  • Is that accurate, seems like George Strait would have more? What about George Jones? Twitty has more hits than both of them?

  • From Billboard's number of #1 Country songs: * 44-George Strait * 40-Conway Twitty * 38-Merle Haggard * 35-Ronnie Milsap * 32-Alabama * 29-Charley Pride * 28-Eddy Arnold * 25-Alan Jackson * 25-Dolly Parton * 24-Reba McEntire

  • @davehlgrn

Count Conway's.....Take Away the Duets with Loretta, and Ronnie had More,,,,,do your homework

  • more hits than anyone i think 42

  • @skeetert101010

    Wrong

  • I saw him in concert back in '77 when I was 13. Always been a fan. Love ya Ronnie!

  • one of the very best ever

  • unbelievable!

  • You never get this classic sound nowa days. Ronnie is just a true legend. No one could beat his sound. And what is the name of the 2nd song????

  • It's over I know you're going

If you can't stay I don't want you too

I won't miss you no I don't care where you go

But where you goin' just in case I do. " JUST IN CASE "

    Joe

  • The name of the song is: "Just in Case" It is on the "Ronnie Milsap Live" album. Never made #1 but got close, 2 or 3, I think.

  • Loved this guy for years. Ronnie is truly a gifted performer. As I listen to his songs many memories come back, many of them sad. Thanks for the music Ronnie!

  • I'm 17 years old, and I love Ronnie Milsap singing. I love all his songs Smokey Mountain Rain, Stranger in my house, Any Day Now, etc. this man is a true legend

  • good for you its good to know young folks can appreciate great music from back in the day.

  • Yeah i have a lot of respect for adults and the music they made, i always think I'm born in the wrong era. Teens my age don't appreciate adults and they're so disrespecful. I wish i can go back in time, like 1975 and experience a young Ronnie Milsap.

  • I'm glad you have respect for adults and with that kind of positive attitude, shows you are rapidly becoming a mature adult. You show good common sense by knowing you can learn from older people. It makes you wise to respect your peers.

  • @TreyNElliot It is so nice to hear that from a young person. It sounds like you have a great head on your shoulders. Keep being who you are and pay no attention to the disrepectful teens. You are the hope for the future. Cheers!

  • @TreyNElliot I am 26 years old and I feel the same way... I wish I could've got to live in the 60's and 70's

  • @TreyNElliot yeah me too

  • @TreyNElliot Wow, when I was 17 I was thinking basicly the same thing, except I wanted to go back to the 50's, thats when I should have been a teen instead of just being born in 57. IM 53 now.

  • @TreyNElliot How refreshing it is to hear someone from our younger generation say something like that! I can tell you I DID know Ronnie Milsap when I was 15 and writing songs as a hobby. He was gracious, kind and had wonderful advice for me. He IS a true legend!

  • @TreyNElliot I love it when then youngsters get it.

  • I was a teenager in the 70's when Ronnie was hot. I loved his music. Saw him live at the Clay Co. fair in Spencer IA. What a great performer. Doesn't let his handicap slow him down. Thanks for posting this video.

  • I love these songs - especially the romantic ballad. Ronnie is fabulous. Ronnie's hair style back in 1975 looks better than some of today's so-called artists. Some I've seen on the popular today's list scare me with their look. At least he looks better than the Beatles did. He must have naturally curly hair as when we met him around six years ago he had curly hair, nicely styled, and was dressed so classily. Very nice looking. Thanks for posting. - Paula

  • wow ledgend

  • I just found out today that Ronnie Milsap is a relative of mine!

    He's my grandma's second cousin.

  • Your so damn desperate!!!!

  • I'd have to be to lie about that.

  • @jml1975jml Yup, I am because we all know everyone wishes to be related to Ronnie Milsap.

  • i saw him in dallas once. it was awsome.

  • What Ronnie lacks in songwriting ability, he more than makes up for with glorious pipes that few country or rock vocalists in America can compete with.

Country, rock n' roll, blues, R&B, pop ballads, doo wop, Bach and Beethoven....there is literally no genre of music this man can't sing.

The most versatile and underappreciated singer/pianist in American music today is RONNIE LEE MILSAP...

  • Such an amazing artist.

  • Thank you, Mr. Milsap, for sharing your amazing talent with the world. Thanks for sharing this video.

  • I love Ronnie's music. I would love to go to one of his concerts. Does his web site have his schedule.

  • My native languagge is spanish, but right now I'm studying english in a institution and for myself, and found this greats Ronnie's videos and think that he is a artist blessed for God.

I like very much the country music (Alan Jackson, Kenny Rogers, Merle Haggard, Dolly Parton, John Denver, Glen Campbell and others).

    Country music for ever!!

  • a very talented dude. i am impressed by people who turn their disadvantages around and become great at what they do.

  • The first song...Yoo-Hoo...not the second.....

  • both songs are great

  • This applies to you and I...........

  • pure talent

  • way to go ronnie ownz :P

  • Excellent!!! I'm going to a Ronnie Milsap concert in may. I can't wait

  • This is awesome. Does anyone know where I could find "I can almost see Houston from here"?

  • Absolutely wonderful!

  • now thats good clean music, all the good songs are the oldschool songs not now adays with all the B.S. music you can't compair anything today with ronnie

  • Ronnie & Dolly Parton are best singers ever. i love this song x

  • Very talented...

  • Have any one heard the song 20/20 vision that Ronnie Milsap used to sing ?

  • I've seen Ronnie live about a year ago. Talk about incredible. He had the audience in the palm of his hands.

  • I seen him in Person In rock counrty fair in the 70s Had to see him again this week at the rock country fair.but i fogot. If you have a change go see him he put a good show on.

  • Ronnie has one of the sweetest voices in any genre. Rates right up there with anyone in my books.

  • What a treat to see this early TV appearance from one of the greatest singers of all time! This was a year before I was born. "Just in Case" is the second song here and is a better song than "Daydreams". Notice how great Ronnie sings this hardcore traditional country song without the phony twang of today's country clones.

  • he may have been blind in sight..but not in music..i really enjoy his singing

  • Incredibly talented. Probably my favorite country musician.

  • I agree.

  • Until the day that I die, I would rather live listening to him and go happy than never have been able to listen to this "God Send" of talent at all! God bless you Ronnie Milsap!!!!!!!!!

  • Great song. I love Ronnie M.He is a very gifted singer. Thank you Eugene for sending me this song.Lisa

  • A world without Ronnie Milsap is like a a world without Jesus

  • I don't agree.

  • I had the privledge of seeinf Ronnie back in 2004 at Casino Rama.I used to listen to him when I was a kid back in the early 70's.I can honestly say that this man can just flat out sing.Talent like his comes around far and few bewtween.Long rock on Ronnie Milsap.

  • Was it true that he was never blind? Either way, he was a hell of a comedy country act! Did you see him and Jerry Clower? Makes me miss M-m-m-mPam Tillis!

  • please post pure love ronnie milsap

  • Milsap Magic -- Very under-rated

  • Do you have a video for ''Inside''

  • the man is awsome!!! i love his music, his piano ability, and the steel guitars in his music!! i cant believe they call keith urban and big and rich country talent!! ronnie is the man!!

  • I agree with you Keith Urban looks like a grunge singer.

  • He sure can sing. He is as great today as he was then. More Ronnie videos please.

  • Ronnie can sing almost anything. Imagine him doing rap.

  • daydreams about night things is one of my favorite ronnie songs, thanks for this awesome awesome video

  • This man is a legend in the music industry and seeing a video that is over 30 years old is amazing because he can still sing like there is no tomorrow. That is why there is only one RONNIE MILSAP
