This is not a Rose Hair. This is a desert or Arizona blonde-A. Chalcodes. Note the offwhite carapace and large abdomen that is common among this species.
Yes, this T should be on dry substrate (I use coco substrate for all my Ts) with a water dish. Do not use rocks or pebbles for a cage environment. I am assuming there is a water dish (people do not realize Ts need water) but please change the substrate. Nice T though!
Right! One of my buddies never gave his tarantula water, and he always said she didn't need water at all. When I tried giving his T some water, it only took 1 minute or less to go drink. She was obviously thirsty!
NO ROCKS, ALWAYS WATER! But not to deep a bowl, or the T can risk drowning. Safety first :)

idiot, it is an a anax. there is no paler coloration present at the legs, so i think that it is an anax and not a chalcodes

Very cute, but you should consider putting it on a peat based substrate instead of pebbles, much better for it.
