  • funny how people are going on about him using a cold bike, im sure chase is smart enuff to warm his bike up, and not kill his cold engine. chase is awsome and knows his shit! and hes not gunna waste 5 mins of vid to warm up his bike..

  • ahaaaaa u just got out of the shop.damn i wonder how u must missd it? haaaaaaaaa listen to it! Awesome the key still has the ticket for yur bike thats how out of the shop it is all reeeal doggy. coolvids

  • u didnt warm her up!? -__- dumbass

  • @XtremeInstincts bike had been cranked up and warmed up before video started. harsh words though

  • @chaseontwowheels ok then im sorry! awesome bike ;)

  • I actually just got my first bike about two weeks ago and it's an '07 R6. It's so awesome to see other R6 riders(or other riders in general) really appreciate what they have and the feeling they experience. I've only just started watching some of your videos, but I'm really stoked you've got your bike back and it's better than ever. Ride safe, man, and have fun!

  • Uh let's go full throttle with a cold engine, why not.

  • @adhdkoen as stated in other comments. bike had been turned on and warmed up prior to the video starting.

  • damn u hit 117 like it was nothing! btw is the 07 r6 fuel injected or carburetor?

  • @ODSTScoppyElite fuel injected. The newer r6's (2006+) are made for performance. Everything from motor tuning to suspension. The older model of the r6 continued on as the R6s

  • Nice SPSU!

  • I could listen to that bike rev all day such a beautiful sound

  • does your bike have a stock exhaust or an after market one?

  • Was that "Marietta Motor Sports?"

  • "Tht looks like a cop"..... *Then goes 118 mph* FUCK THA POLICE!!!

  • WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA, RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA, WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • It put a huge smile on my face when you ripped away on that hwy. I live in MN and we have snow and it is 20 degrees... a few more months!

  • @kymcoscooter8 "Glad you got her fixed man! Bike sounded GREAT"= Positive

"HOLY CRAP BATMAN! now THAT is music to the ears :D glad she's back on the road man, we've missed her hehe, ride safe!" = positive

"I'm happy to see you back on R6 :)" =positive

from video "WHOOOOOO DAMN THAT FEELS GOOD!!!"=positive

"IMO, i would shop around for another shop." = negative

How can you watch this video and not crack a smile and be happy for the dude? I just don't know. lol

  • @HopFilms I am happy he is back on two wheels, and the bike sounded great. My post was just some advice because i do not know if he had to pay extra labor charges for diagnostics hours whereas if he took it to a different shop that checked valves simply as a periodic maintenance or to check when i bike isn't running right, less hours would be paid for diagnostics, make sense? To give myself some reputability, i am very mechanically inclined as well as a mechanical engineering student, thanks.

  • Kymcoscooter08 only person to post a negative comment. Get your scootin ass on somewhere. MarMo one of the best in the business! No one else touches my bikes!

Chase we are talking about a blood mountain run saturday. Mikey says your the blood mountain ambassador. If your free be great to have ya. Hopefully outlander gets the day off and can roll to.

  • @HopFilms My post was not negative, just some friendly advice. I know how hard it is to find a good reputable repair shop (main reason i do my own maintainance on my bikes=plural=not just a scooter. The fact of the matter is, after scanning the computer for codes, valve lash should be the next thing to check on a bike like that. It sounded like the r6 was in the shop a while. I guess it is possible that they just didn't get to it for a while, in that case cool.

  • Mother of frickin god, 5:00 was awesome.

  • I guess the roads on blood mountain are really in trouble now that your bike is fixed.

You were already flying up & down the mountain.

  • Valves are one of the first things a shop should check on a motorcycle IMO, i would shop around for another shop.

  • Watching you bang along the highway gets my adrenaline pumping, just remembering how good that felt on my R6. Miss that bike so much :(

Anyway, good to see you back on your's!

  • Fuck yeah. lol

  • anyone else notice the mx-5's?

  • i love my R6 i know exactly how you feel opening the throttle after not riding it for a while. Its just sexy init?

  • Watching your vids makes me not want to sell mine! Cant wait for the snow to melt for i can go for another ride! Good to see u got the r6 back

  • Lucky you! Enjoy the ride ;)

  • are you out in washington

  • Comment removed

  • holy moly that R6 purrs like a kitten :D !

  • ohh man ur reminding me of ds83 more n more i love ur exhaust btw nothing better than a screaming r6

  • reminds me of the overwhelming joy I too felt when when my bike was fixed after sitting for months due to lack of repair money.

  • Looks like it feels good to be back :)

    Gratz on the fix/

  • What a beast! And man, good thing they checked your valves, expect some killer performance now that the valve gap is right. You were flooding the cylinder, not the carbs (your engine is fuel injected anyway) which gave not only a rich mixture at high-rpm, but also locked up the piston at low rpm.

  • she's sounding like a true r6 beast again! glad to hear she's running fantastically again! missed those vlogs! lol ride safe bud

  • 5:07 - incredible.

  • Glad you got her fixed man! Bike sounded GREAT when you hit it on the highway! What kind of exhaust do you have?

  • u using go pro man?

  • "looks like it might be a cop!" *shoots off to 120mph*

  • So happy for you! Sounds awesome.

  • Yay! Sounds awesome, so happy for you.

  • Yay! Sounds awesome, soooo happy for you.

  • watching a man enjoy his bike after so long is like watching a man ride his bike for the first time :D and it was a wonderful riding vid

  • it warms my hart to see you happy and to hear the bike, AWsome sound , much throatyer then before, more hollow and deep tone when you whipit. the mechanic was saying your valves was too tight so when it got warm it depresses them more into the cylinders and not sealing as well thus flooding air into and not making enough compression. prob somthing like that(have she got a name ?)

  • It's so awesome that you finally got your bike fixed and back under ur arse! Congrats...I'm sure your bank account is crying now though!! lol

  • 5:10 also FTW

  • 1:52 FTW

  • :') so happy

  • so how much did the valve adjustment cost?, not all the looking it over and testing , just the valve part

  • WHOA WHOA WHOA, i thought my r6 manual says that the valve adjustment was at 26k miles, not 12, and most of the other sport bikes say 16k. so which is it?

  • @SrtRacerBoy Fucking false advetisment and shit productivity. Wtf

  • fuck the speed boost is amazing !!! nice

  • poor bike. it was cold still! :/

  • Great news that you got your baby back and even better that it actually surprised you with the way it runs.

Maybe just from being off it for a while that you're not used to the power or response you get from the throttle but I reckon it also is running better.

  • pass that mf'er, catch me if you can!

  • man i miss my R6

  • @chaseontwowheels Do you have a name for the bike?

  • My 125 could probably do with a clearances check and adjustment. They're meant have a clearance of about three-thou on my lil' Honda CG engine. ;D

It's just finding the effort to do it. XD Would make an interesting video though...

Glad the bike's working now man. Sounds amazing!

  • and I've been replaying the acceleration on the freeway, beautifull sound. I'm just grinning eat to ear =D

  • Def didn't flood the carbs considering they dont exist.

  • Nice to say her back. I'm happy for you man. Oh and your bike doesn't have carbs btw. ;)

  • @jajajacol lol, obviously Im not 100% sure what Im talking about. After getting the breakdown of what had happened to the bike all I could hear was, "blah blah blah, your bikes fixed and runs, blah blah blah"

  • glad to see your bike is back =) mine's off to the shop tomorrow =(

  • 5:09 I LOVE THAT SOUND. your bike sounds amazing reving out, i so wanted one of these but ended up getting a 99 zx6r for the better pillion seat.

  • @nanahc The day I get a bike for a pillion seat is the day I chop my nuts off and by a people carrier at the same time.

  • @Motownisyourtown haha fair enough, i like the idea of being able to take my g/f with me. each to their own.

  • @nanahc You can with a R6!!! She'd get used to it.

  • @chaseontwowheels When you mean adjust your vales your talking about valve lash at the can shaft? I have a 2001 R1 that is at 11.5k miles so it might be due for some lash adjustment.

  • LISTEN TO IT O'_'O

    Hah.

  • holy shyt if u wen straight instead of the highway u wuda hit my house! glad u got your bike back!

  • Can you put it on KM/H for one video, please?

  • just had a sound gasm she sounds amazing :)

  • Such an awesome bike. Glad it's all working again :)

  • Sweet Jesus! Now that's what im talking about, the sound of the gear changes is so good!:), cannot wait to pass full bike test and get one of these:)

  • My valves were redone too :) I was almost just running on 3 cylinders lol I put 20,000+ miles on the bike last year.....and I don't think the bike ever had the valves adjusted...

  • revs and gear changes sound so sick man, can't wait for a 4 valve bike!!!

  • Duder, she is purring like a kitty should. Now she sounds like a sportbike!!!

  • HOLY CRAP BATMAN! now THAT is music to the ears :D glad she's back on the road man, we've missed her hehe, ride safe!

  • the sound of that bike!!! omg thats noiceeeeeeee

  • Hell yeah the bikes back, that highway acceleration sounds so nice!

  • what a beautiful acceleration sound!

  • Certainly sounds better. Don't know if you've adjusted mic positioning or not but sounds alot more fluid if you know what i mean

  • I'm happy to see you back on R6 :)

  • Very cool, congrats, glad it was noting to serious & the engine wasn't damaged.

  • HOly shot man, listen to that induction howl!!! Damn man, it sounds alot better!!

  • Congrats on getting your bike back she sound amazing. How long was it in the shop?

  • HOLY SHIT IT SOUNDS SO GOOD

  • I think she sounds better now chase..

Might be worth doing a sound comparison video, sort of a b4 and after side by side thing..

When she was idling she sounded nice but when you hit the highway it sounded amazing lol...

  • Nice one! I thought she was Idling a bit high at the begging but yeah sounds sexy on the highway!

  • Sweet! Glad the bike is back on the road. She sounds bitchin'.

I have 40k on the f4i without a valve adjustment. I know it's due time, I just gotta bite the bullet and take it in.

  • yeah ahe sound really good congrats on being back on 2 wheels

  • God that sounds amazing once you hit the highway.

  • sounds amazing :O

  • First? and congrats on getting the bike back!
