  • The platinum content of the pen does not really add much to the value. The maximum thickness you would ever do with platinum would be around 5 microns without risking peeling. For jewelry usually 1.5-2.5 microns is standard. Realistically the pen has very little platinum value, less than $10. The labor do it generally costs far more than the material, and oddly enough the cheaper Ruthenium version likely cost more to make becasue it's more difficult to work with.

  • nice 16610=)

  • @snipeyoass420 - Thanks!

  • Would you consider the Cool Blue Pen an "everyday med to high volume"writing pen; or rather just a "document signing/fancy" pen?

  • @Legal37 - these pens are definitely made to be used. No problem at all as a "daily driver."

  • will it take a ballpoint refill ???

  • @rickbar123 - nope. Rollerball and Fineliner only.

  • how much are they?

  • @bwelti1 - I haven't seen the latest prices, but around $400.00.

  • Dang, i cant wait till i get to the point where i can buy so many nice exspensive pens.
