That was not an SVD, that was a civilian model called the tiger. The difference is the twist the barrel gives the bullet and the overall length of the weapon. Also, military SVD's only came in a wood finish, anything else is not original.

Cheap too. You can get a Mosin Nagant for like 150$. AK-47 for like 400$-500$.

My friend's SKS that he bought only cost him like 200$. The nagant revolver you can get one for like 150$, depending on the year made.

If you shoot somebody with the AK 47 you will nock him down by the impact,

M16 is not usable when it falls in water...Ak 47 falls in mud, pick it up, wash with water and it works as fine as hell. I have this AK that once belonged to my father, its over 40 years old and i can still shoot on some bad asses with it.

I can't say i agree, the M16 can hit targets well beyond the range of the AK 47. Though the AK 47 is definitely the sturdier of the two and requires less maintenance, which is crucial in a battle scenario.
