they HAD (I'm not sure if it's legal anymore) a civilian version of the Barrett .50 Cal Rifle, but I don't think they even made a civilian version of the M@
They're still legal. You're probably thinking of the not-so-wonderful (in a 2nd amendment sense) state of California. Barrett refuses to sell there... haha. And its not so much a civillian version, as it is what year it was made. If you have the time to, look up the 1986 full-auto ban, signed by Regan. Just some food for thought :-).
a red necks amusment ahhhhh i love the south

i think m82A1 are available to the licensed public?
piek92 2 years ago
dont think so.,...
HanGookBoi 2 years ago
You can own a 50 cal without a license. You only have to have the license when what ever you have is full auto.
salemcripple 3 years ago
well honestly who would want one of these without full auto ?
piek92 2 years ago
Exactly! The govt. gets all the good toys, and they don't want anyone else to play. That being said, a .50 cal is still a .50 cal. lol.
salemcripple 2 years ago
that kinda defeats the purpose

@ultrapak The HMG does not have 50mm ammuntion, it has 12,7 * 9,3 mm ammuntion. End of story.
