Yes, that melody is used alot in the film. Played faster, played slower etc.  It's used in '2005' right at the beginning of the film for example. Hope that's what you meant.

The one thing I found so funny was When Soundwave is told by Megs to 'jam that transmission' Soundwave's two mini decepticions Rumble and Frenzy attack Blaster and Perceptor. I always thought that by jamming their transmission, Soundwave would send out soundwaves at the same frequency or something to offset the message.

If I was Megatron, once we had got through the outer walls I'd have set the techier Decepticons like Soundwave and the Constructicons to subverting or bypassing the cities weapons and turn them against the defenders. But that's just my own personal fan wank.
