i really liked Reynolds when he played Wade Wilson back in origins, but i wished that they would stay true to the comic since dead pool is fucking bad ass with the whole brain tumor thing. + the costume aint bad either. An eccentric black and red costumed hero with swords, guns and the ability to teleport, the oppurtunities for witty lines are endless.

been confirmed that deadpool is going to be rated r.. thats right r.. which is suprising since disney took over the rights but its great there letting the source material stay true.. i have to say recently marvel has really stepped up production.. thor, iron man 2, x men first class, they were all good. and yes the deadpool film.is actually already in production expect a late 2012 early 2013 release guys.. i cant wait.. :)

I think alot more of these comic book movies should be R-rated. Most of these comics are from an older generation. Bring a super hero is not a pg-13 career. Leave that to the animated versions which is already immensely populated with comic folk lore. The adults need our heroes to be a lil grungy n dark which doesn't have the same feeling with a kidsey rating. Look at spider man. Could have been epic with darker undertones. Just saying.

@SenorShutter2 That's a REALLY good point. I actually made the comparrison to Venom in Spiderman 3. They kept going back to whats his name's face to deliver lines. I think Reynolds could present the lines the best though, his sense of humor is spot on. Maybe it'd be more origin esque where he starts off just being bad ass, then gets the whole cancer thing and under goes treatment in teh weapon ex program.

I'm really looking forward to it, Deadpool is a personal favorite of mine (which I'm sure he is to a lot of people"). And with the way he is I'm sure it will be rated R for gore. I would love to see more 4th wall breaking instead pop culture referances. Because by the time it's written, the refernace could easily be old and not as funny by the time the movie comes out and especially by the time people re-watch it on DVD and afterwards.
