There are theories about homosexuality, but no one can solidly prove their case; it could have biological factors, environmental factors etc. It seems crazy to believe the majority consciously decided to be gay. I'm left handed, but more than 90% of the world is right handed. Why am I left handed? The scientists don't really know. Looking back at history, I would have been considered sinister. Some people are gay, but the majority are straight. Why are they gay? They don't know. There are natural variations that sometimes happen. I don't understand how love can be harmful in a monogamous relationship between two adults, especially when it is a minority in an overpopulated world.

@DroppinKnowledge69 But while it's very likely biological/genetic there isn't one ultimately accepted theory as to how it happens and no one knows for certain why one hand is more dominant. There are theories about homosexuality, but no one can solidly prove their case; it could have biological factors, environmental factors etc. It seems crazy to believe the majority consciously decided to be gay. People shouldn't just condemn others because they are different and we don't understand it.

Both groups of people are a minority, sure, but accepting same-sex couples isn't the same as condoning murder. Also, a person falling in love with someone of the same sex and someone having sex with a dog isn't the same, so why compare them?

I never said the gene was identified, but it is genetic. Medicine doesn't have to identify specifics prior to knowing its origin. That's how science works. And I couldn't give you links. The research I do is through a license-only medical engine for medical professionals.

He had a sexual fetish for men that were totally submissive, which is why he killed them before having sex and eating them. It was all sexually motivated. Also, the bible never said men shouldn't have sex with men. That was a cultural mistranslation of Hebrew from Greek and roman origins. The word for homosexuality wasn't used. The bible uses "manbed" which is Used NOWHERE else in history. Cultural linguists and religious scholars have concluded it to mean: "men who use power to have sex."

Marriage was a contract between families used for political power, cultural peace, and money. The wedding was a slave deal in which the woman was "given" away as property by the father. @carolus1966 Nope, not a bully. I spend alot of time on YouTube fighting bullies actually. If you're a Van Halen fan, look up the "Eruption Guitar Solo--Eddie Van Halen" video. There is this guy Adnoydall who goes around telling people we're all fags for liking Van Halen, I routinely put him in his place. I don't think you're giving home truths, I think you're giving opinions. I'm entitled to my own, and I can say them wherever I want. Even on here, until the video owner blocks me.

i find you boorish and a bully, that is my opinion. i am giving you hometruths: you are giving your opinion on gay ppl and you're a straight guy whereas my perspective is totally different. it upsets me to see the type of stuff you think is ok to post, it's hurtful and you definitely cross the line of what is considered acceptable in human interaction. there is no need for vilifying ppl, it doesn't matter who they are.

@carolus1966 Barack Obama is against gay marriage. Joe Biden is against gay marriage. They do, however, support gay couples having the same benefits as hetero couples. If Obama, the most liberal president we ever had, shares my views, then they can't be that boorish and bully-like. I don't see how it is biologically possible for a person to be gay. If I were to lock a gay man in a closet with a naked Carmen Electra I'll bet you 10 bucks he'd get a chubby. That's just the way it is.

@carolus1966 I'm all for equal rights. Gays should live as couples, have steamy passionate sex all night, get benefits, all that good stuff. Just don't disgrace traditional marriage. It's like if a white person wants to join the NAACP. Thats not normal. Form your own club. Same goes for gays. Do your own thing, no one will bother you.
