  • This is the worst thing ever. Whoever made this deserves to shot into space from a cannon.

  • a very weird concept to change the doctor into a brilliant human scientist named Dr. Who. This is how I reckon the soon-to-be-made Doctor Who movie will turn out. Completely different cast and continuity but the same concept in a hollywood budget film...it just doesn't feel right...nor is it what fans have been waiting for. Frankly I don't like the idea of doctor who on the big screen, it suits TV series. Means we're gonna get ANOTHER Doctor etc. Basically it's all in it for the money nuff sed

  • I'd love to see this is in the cinema, on a really big screen. I'm sure it would be amazing. And the sequel, too, of course.

  • This reminds me of the Darlek story in season one of doctor who (1963)

  • @SuperZeldaBros64 It's a remake.

  • @TheOnComingStorm121 oh I never knew that

  • Which Doctor is this supposed to be?

  • @ghostsurfer666 It was the first doctor, from season 1

  • @Corawidenadfar Hmm. Well it looks nothing like him.

  • @ghostsurfer666 Originally it was the first doctor, but I guess the movie makers thought it was such a great concept they decided to make a movie, starring Peter Cushing, about this event in Dr. Who history.

  • @Corawidenadfar maybe it was an earlier adventure and he looked younger

  • @ghostsurfer666 i belive the story takes place before the 1st doctor

  • @1devo6587 No, it's basically a whole alternate universe. This Doctor's name is actually Dr. Who; Barbara is also his granddaughter; and, most differently, he's a normal human scientist who built a Time/Space teleportation machine called the TARDIS which is bigger on the inside and appears, on the outside (for reasons which are [in the film] never explained) as a Police Box. It's kind of an oddball moment in Who history, and isn't considered canon by most.

  • @Woesteinvuir wow, the movie makers really had no idea what they were doing then.

  • @1devo6587 Yeah, it was an attempt to capitalize on the runaway success of the TV show by remaking one of the most popular serials into a film. What I still don't get is why they didn't just remake it with the original cast and story. It would make much more sense. It's like setting if Serenity was set in the actual West. It boggles my mind.

  • @Woesteinvuir Serenity in the actual west? that would be very weird. Serenity was a great movie, i wish that they never canceled Firefly

  • @1devo6587 I know, right? God they were good. Such an original Sci-fi concept, and those are in short supply. Taken before its time.
