Personally, Marvel's whole Dark Reign schtick is a little annoying, but I have to admit, I am very glad they are throwing deadpool into the thick of things with his new series. Magnum Opus was very good in my opinion, and I thought that the second issue was one of the better thunderbolts comics.
I agree with you Collin. Magnum Opus (Tbolts and Deadpool) is one of the better Dark Reign stories being told right now. I also think the story in The Punisher monthly is quite good too. Thanks for watching and commenting.
THe X-Men! My favorite book of all time! What did they do to it. No More Mutants never made any sense. It makes absolutely no sense, I had to stop reading it, this is absurd.
Have they decided if they were going to portray Tony Stark as a hero or a villian. They portrayed him both ways, You can't do that!
YE at least someone acknowledge Invincible Iron Man Series! The book was Amazing since It was release and almost no one acknowledge him.
You are right oh the salvador art... In the beginning it was great but now it's just good.
Who do you thing need to drown this series? the best artiest, in my opinion, thta drown Iron Man were: Adi Granov (the best! also done the design for the movie's armor) and the second on was the artiest that drown Civil War.
I think that's a very good point. Marvel is catching a wave. A wave called DC sucks. And the irony is DC doesn't even really suck. Atleast, it's content doesn't. What sucks about DC is currently the 'brand' of DC is so linked to Final Crisis.
Marvel can't do "Rom" any more because it was based on a toy. 9 years ago Marvel tried publishing a comic called "Spaceknights" which featured Rom (renamed "Prince Tristan") in a redesigned costume so it wouldn't look like the toy. The problem I had with it was that the "Rom" costume was just armor the pretty boy hero could take off anytime he wanted, when a huge part of the original character was that Rom had sacrificed his ability to be human by getting stuck in this battle suit.
How do you guys feel about New Avengers #50 being an artistic jam issue in which several different artist will be drawing the interiors, each doing a couple pages at a time one right after the other?
The problem I think is that when a writer(s) comes onto the X-Men books, they feel that it must be written like a Chris Claremont storys from the '80's.
Claremont's Xmen storys always had that "impending doom" feel to them. Like, "soon the Government will begin Mutant Registration" or "the war between human and mutant will begin because of this" but never actually got around to it.
Brubaker and Fraction story really feels like an old Claremont tale, with the impending mutant birth control.
Who would be in Norman Osborn's Dark Howard the Duck Avengers???

Thank you! Someone else who thinks "Decimation' was a terrible idea.
The X-men's manifesto is to "help, defend and champion mutantkind". Can't really do that if their are No More Mutants!
Literally, the only mutants left are the X-Men & their sister-teams and mutant badguys. Like the Mauraders, Ms.Sinester, Shaw, etc.
So now, X-men is just them defending themselves!

Yeah X-men is kinda meh, the move to San Fran was interesting and made sense, but the problem with the X-franchise is too many ancillary titles.
Who really gives a crap about Cable? Do we really need umpteen Wolverine titles?
They need to cut it down to three ongoings at the most and move Wolverine to MAX.

And you see how much people love that.
