This movie has one of the coolest cinematic montages when the Wall Troll is running throught the forest towards the house. It is so terrifying , even now. The other movie that does it is Evil Dead, where the evil spirit is moving toward the house

@Durandal999 This story is from Cats Eye by Stephen King. The Troll gets into the girls home and lives in the walls. At night it comes out & takes away the girls breath making her ill. The poor cat, General, gets the blame but he knows the Troll is hurting the girl. He gets sent away by the parents who do not believe the girl when she tells them about the Troll. General escapes. Back home he fights the Troll saving the girls life. The parents find bits of the dead Troll realising it was real.

I read in an article that originally there was a segment at the begining of the film that explained how the cat was intertwined in the three stories of the movie. But, the film company removed it, upsetting the director. I'm upset, too! They should have left it in.

The filmmakers did an awesome job creating the wall troll. Except for the bad background blending parts when the troll was onscreen at the same time with the girl or the cat.
