Since when does moving to the music = true appreciation? So sure, you'd like more enthusiasm in a crowd, but sometimes people just, yes, want to stand still and listen to the music without being pressured to jump up and down in order to prove that they "get" the music.

I think there was only like one person truly feeling it in the crowd. The guy with the LA hat. I always thought the smell had a good crowd or something. Maybe just a bad crowd day

This isn't really noshing music, they don't mosh at shows, but still, this lifeless bunch of lazy indie rockers is a bad example of people who actually care about indie rock like myself. I'm gonna see them next Thursday in new Orleans!

@GnomesAmok Nowadays, the people who are really serious about music don't dance, they stand and watch in contemplative observation. When a band is "rocking," an audience member will nod the head slightly, thus honoring the established tradition of headbanging, while not putting undue stress on the muscles of the neck. These people are very serious about music.
