  • Gorgeous!

  • Would this system self regulate? (except for feeding the fish of course)

  • Very Nice ! :)

  • nice tank

  • @Superdodat your no help

  • the ecosphere dont must be a bubble, im right? dont see any point why it must be bubble ^^

  • @eliden lol, so pathetic :P

  • where do i get a glass bowl like that?

  • This is amazing and so beautiful ♥ love you bowl great job ☺

  • can you give me link to the glass bowl?

  • do you still have the fish in there? just curious

  • Nice bowl and nice home for those 2 little fish! Congrats, I hope you won!

  • so, how long did this actually last?

  • What plant and set up can I get online/ebay or at the store for this? I've always been wanting one, would love websites that explain how or information for this (would just like to buy everything separately perhaps, so I must know the plant and instructions and fish I can use for this ^^)

  • just awesome

  • awesome

  • PLEASE tell me this one first place

  • u have inspired me to make one!

  • stunning... !!!!!!!!! beautifully done!!!!

  • LOL OVERSTOCKED? I've never seen so many morons comment in one video.

  • @pikapikarya You should go back to playing halo and leave the fishkeeping to people with a brain.

  • @alhslm Calling this overstocked makes you look like you have severe downs. I'm guessing you're content with that.

  • @pikapikarya Interesting. Well, how I came to that conclusion was by looking at the care of each of the fish in there, and then comparing the minimum tank size to the size of that tank, and not surprisingly the minimum tank size was larger than that tank. You on the other hand have absolutely no information to back up your claim.

  • @alhslm You do realize the plants make the ratio of 1 fish per gallon smaller. More oxygen and filtration from the plants balances it out easily.

  • @pikapikarya You do realize that no one that knows the slightest thing about fish keeping goes by a 1 fish per gallon rule. That is absurd. If you meant 1 inch per gallon that is only slightly less ridiculous. Also you could put 10 filters and 100 plants in a 75g tank and it doesn't mean you can keep a red belly pacu. It gets 4 feet long, the plants don't make up for it needing space to swim around. Sure they can live, but they are not thriving. Watch a school of neons in a big tank u will see

  • @pikapikarya Look at dustinsfishtanks 90g neon tetra tank. Those fish move more in each movement than this guys entire tank.

  • Were can i get one?

  • nice vary nice i know now what im going to do with my 50l bowl

  • "I'm not sure what that is but its growing"

  • what do you use to filter out the c02 at night?thats an amazing bowl.no wc's required

  • Comment removed

  • like an ecosphere ;)

  • Hi, I have been looking for a 31 liter bowl just like yours... I know you said it was made in China, but I haven't been able to find anything of that size and price. Could you please tell me where you got it? And congratulations on a beautiful tank, everything looks like it's thriving.

  • One of the best tanks i have ever seen!

    Good job!

  • looks like s*it and you're just torturing those animals and plants, and the only "jungly" thing out there is your point of view

  • there is not another source of lightin than the fluorescent and led from ikea?i would really like to try something similar.

  • wow..sooo cool

  • Guys...General fish keeping conventions are guidelines for beginners. Obviously this tank shows that yes these rules can be broken with EXPERIENCE. I'm sure he tends these fish with plenty of maintenance.

  • Can you please send me everything you in the in that bowl including the type of bowl it is! in an inbox with the price! i would love to buy the exact setup you have with the fish!

  • c'est nul et sa s’appelle de le maltraitance de poissons car leur vision se déforme et il n'ont même pas de chauffage! ce n'est pas une vie pour des poissons!

  • Why would anyone dislike this vid? -___- It's just a vid of a fish tank.

  • @zannteo Possibly the person who disliked this could have been jealous :)

  • i thought ram fish were ment to have 70 litres

  • is this good for betta?

  • doff my cap..this is very very innovative..

  • doo triops plz

  • HOLY DUD NICE TANK AND FISH =O =)

  • AAH,that is beauty fish tank i ever see!

  • Thank you so much for posting this video next year I am planning to re aquascape my biorb and this is what I am going to base it on, stunning just stunning

  • wow .. I never knew cichlids worked with tetras!!!

  • @ZeDStarZz57 Only extremely passive ones. Don't get over confident and put a Convict Cichlid with something like a Cory catfish or tetra...I've tried. It ended with 6 dead catfish.

  • Absolutely beautiful.

  • I absolutely love you, sir! what types of fish eat algae/clean glass but don't eat the plants?

  • Dude, you're an American, we don't do liters, come on.

  • This is really and absolutely awesome.

  • very nice but TOO many fish!

  • Nice.. I might start one.

  • Very cool! Great work, keep it up!!

  • very beautiful

  • dude that cichlid is gonna run game on everything in that tank soon!!!

  • can i have one

  • Hmm ... Way in each. In here, Finland, 31 liters tank for fishes is animal cruelty!

  • waaaay to small for the rams and cardinal(?)tetras

  • AGH. Dammit, I accidentally clicked the dislike button! I'm sorry x ~x,

  • how mouch are blue rams?????

  • If you look close when the "blue ram" swims by you can tell that it is actually not a blue ram, but in fact a "powder blue ram." There is a difference!

  • Nice bubble, but wouldn't the fish need some oxygen if you use CO2 and there is no movement in the surface?

  • how do u clean this?

  • Put in a filter and buy a bigger tank for the rams

  • how much budget you expense to do that kind of aquarium

  • BEAUTIFUL. but how do you clean it?

  • THis is amazing

  • what plant is that you used the most of? dwarf sag? tremendous tank, btw

  • This is truly a work of art. Very beautiful. It is kind of like the freshwater version of a saltwater nano tank. We kept a 21/2 gallon saltwater nano running for years. Good job.

    Elliot

  • Do they have algae?

  • Could you give me the information on the bowl? I would love to get one. . . .

  • OH!!!! and also, what led lamp are you using, I've been trying to find one for my tiny aquarium

  • awsome! how you clean it?

  • How do you clean it

  • I think the fish would appreciate a little water movement.

  • how often do you have to clean this?

  • You MUST be poor

  • Do you use soil?

  • It really looks wonderful! I love the shape of it also! very modern.. very beautiful!

  • how do u have air for the fish

  • Beautiful

  • 100th Like!

  • WAY overstocked, but beautiful...

  • @TheWallaceGrover actually YOUR WRONG. its not "WAY" overstocked. its a little tight but definitely nothing to gasp about... You have to understand something. For the people saying "NO FILTER?!?!" or "OVERSTOCKED" please understand something... The plant needs the fish, and the fish needs the plant... the plant will FLOURISH from nitrates produced from the fish... the plant IS the filter... so please. research before you open your chops... take care.

  • @34SkiLLz14Luck

Sorry but biological load isn't the only factor to take into consideration when stocking a tank, the fish need to have plenty of space in case of harassment by other fish as well as plenty of swimming room for good psychological healthy. You can stuff a betta in a small vase and keep it alive with water changes however it is certainly not in the best interest of the fish. I suggest you do some research beyond the bare boned basics...

  • @TheWallaceGrover well biological load is the only thing that i am speaking of. those 2 rams shouldnt be in there at all but aside from that, i dont see the issue cards or the neons. their natural habitat is DENSELY packed plantlife at the bottom of a river or creek. they thrive in tight spaces like this bowl. they are actually small enough to where they dont feel cramped at all. just google for yourself. but again those rams need out of there. other then that its perfect for tetra's

  • @34SkiLLz14Luck to add a little more, in the wild cards or neons would find themselves bunched into thick grass or plantlife like this because they dont want to be eaten themselves. if they come out of their plantlife homes they get devoured by other predators.

  • @TheWallaceGrover as long as the fish like it i don't see why he should change anything

  • wow! This looks fantastic, the shape works really well.I would love to try this kind of eco sytem set up. Do you still have this running? Apologies if you have already answered this question.

  • what for plant is that green plant???

  • awesome biosphere congrats. looks pretty well thanks for upload.

  • @makeupaddgymnastics sorry not big wnough maybe a few shrimp and a betta

  • how do you get rid of the ammonia buildup????

  • @Yahsaki: Plants absorb CO2, they don't produce it. Fish produce CO2.

  • @Perfectlyscience67 plants absorb CO2 while light is present as photosynthesis; when light is not present, this process goes reverse, CO2 becomes the product; while injecting CO2 from the bottle with this amount of plant produce CO2 at night (cellular respiration), it could be harmful to fish... just my 2 cents...

  • I like your bowl!! Can you tell us how long have you had it running like this? Also, would the CO2 from both the bottle & the plant an issue at night after you turn off the light to the fish? I am a little concerned as you have so much plant producing CO2 at night...

  • wow !! no filter ?

  • @xitrumluubang the plants act as a natural filter by aerating the water and consuming waste

  • @xitrumluubang its a biosphere its a full life cycle plants make oxygen fish takes a dump and shrips eath the dump :P

  • @xitrumluubang read the description of the video

  • I just loved your "Jungle Bubble" I don't know any of the specifics you are talking about, to me, it's just so pleasing to the eye. I hope you won :) Good Luck to you~

  • WOW! I love this! How do you do the 80% water changes? the only way i can think of doing that is by letting the water lever get really low and then replacing it with new clean water... but wouldnt that stress out the fish a lot?

  • @makeupaddgymnastics

I wouldn't put more than 2 fish in such a small tank. He kind of over stocked this. If you want to put in like, 3/4 fish, go with at least a 5 gallon. Its still a nano :)

  • Please look at my nano tank... I have a HD video I took.... I'd really appreciate it.

I'm not trying to spam, I just really want people to see my tank!

    Thanks!

I love love love this bowl.

  • WHAT THE...? Are you people serious? Small ball for a couple of apisto and other fishes? With a fucking seashell making the water even harder?

  • are you french you sound french

  • sorry... i got distracted by the related video that says someone is keeping an oscar, pike, catfish and bass in a 10 gallon tank.

  • Comment removed

  • You did a great job man. Its hard to prevent chlorosis in that many plants in a small tank without having a bunch of beard algae all over the leaves. its a perfect bowl, coming from a guy who has done planted and reef bowls for ten years. Really well done, I hope you won.

  • Do you change the water?

  • @MsMoon1217 he says in the vid he does a water change at the end of the week to get into the plants so he can prune them

  • where did you get that bowl?

  • Nice!

  • where did you get the blue ran cichlid

  • you can tell the rams apart because the females have a pink stomach

  • wow dude it looks so full of life :D

  • so the plant on the bottem is anubia? Looks great i want some!

  • What you have tetras and cichlids in a bowl why thats unheard off... love it man looks awesome. trying to get my friend to do this

  • @27deathage that isnt cichlids its a gourami fish breed ... has big eyes and shorter body than the cichlids

  • @keyzin um gourami are from asia and ram cichlids are dwarf cichlids, nothing to do with gourami ;)

  • great job man! its beautiful what filtration do you use?

  • Hello, I have just set up a Fluval Chi and I am looking to add some some additional LED lighting to grow a larger variety of plants. I have looked at a lot of the DIY recommendations, but your easy solution of using a regular LED desk lamp is inspiring. I have looked for similar models, but all seem inadequate. Could you tell us the brand and model of the LED lamp and where you purchased it? That would be great. Thank you.

  • what is the gallon? and watts?

  • wow you are awesome! This is beautiful! I'm a novice in keeping a fish bowl and I don't want all the mechanical stuff as well...Can you recommend which substrate is good for plant? how to set it up and for how long before I put in the fishes? I'd love to have something like this where my fishes are happy and healthy! Thank u in advance!

  • Hey how's the bowl doing now? Still as pretty?

  • Thank you for this great video. For the past year, I've been playing around with aquatic tabletop biospheres using a single amano shrimp with a lot of success, but I'd like to do something larger like you've done. Do you have to feed the fish regularly? The best thing about my biosphere is that I don't have to worry about feeding my shrimp. Perhaps this could be done with only algae eating fish/shrimp? I'm interested your co2 system.

  • Is that how you say it? Krypto-Koreenes.

  • Im thinking about getting a goldfish. Would this be enough space for it?

  • @Miewx3 Goldfish actually get fairly large. You'd be looking at 6-10 inches (maybe more) for an adult fancy goldfish and well over 12 inches for adult common/comet goldfish. As a result, they need really big tanks! I know this seems odd, as we are so used to keeping them in small tanks and bowls but it is true! If you wanted a goldfish, I'd recommend two or three fancies in a 30-40 gallon tank. Small tanks and bowls cause goldfish to live very short lives and suffer lots of health problems.

  • very very interesting, i'm very surprise how can be clear water if have not filtration...again compliment!

  • Looks Beautiful!!

  • Interesting video thanks for sharing

  • lovely bowl nice planted ...a betta splendens would be great as one and only inhabitant among with the shrimps :D

  • where did you get this fish bowl, and where can i find one like it

  • would the amano shrimp eat hair on my java fern?

  • My Amano shrimp do in fact eat hair algae. When it gets to be excessive, I just add another shrimp, but I calibrate their population very slowly, so as to ensure that they won't starve during lean times. (Supplementing additional flake food may prevent starvation, in the absence of algae.)

  • @dangerousfishbowl luv it!

  • wow i really like ur "jungle Buble".....nd y only fish bowl??...y cant i b fish tank??

anyways really awesome plants n fishes..:)

  • @micheshawn Glad you like it. I wanted to prove that bowls can function like flourishing aquariums if all the right ingredients are there -- without mechanical parts.

  • @dangerousfishbowl

I really like this. I was toying with the same idea, but ended up getting a filter when I developed some blue-green algae issues. They cleared up with some circulation. Anyway, really beautiful set-up. :)
