The only questions I have is what can the Zeitgeist movement do to be a NEXUS for all of the movements out there that are already going on? How does one implement the zeitgeist solutions on a small scale to affect a city or school or office? And then getting organized enough to make it happen.

The whole Venus Project is the work of taking the things that make the civilian population indispensable - rights to private production and distribution - and putting them in the rights of a select few, i.e. a small ruling class. If oil isn't stopped, food prices will skyrocket because of the cost of transport. Not to mention the limitations on civilian travel will slow down. Try getting to work when the prices keep going up. The only questions I have is what can the Zeitgeist movement do to be a NEXUS for all of the movements out there that are already going on? How does one implement the zeitgeist solutions on a small scale to affect a city or school or office? In short, in a RBE, everyone WILL have discretion (since there WON'T only be ONE type of everything, there'll be different types of EACH thing, using THE MOST DURABLE, MOST SUSTAINABLE, & MOST HEALTHY materials known to exist @ the time), AND we may even CUSTOMIZE to an extent! The ONLY "can't" would be in regards to OWNING LARGE items (such as cars or boats, since there'd be no NEED to own, & the negatives of owning such items would greatly outweigh the positives), we'd

...either use mass transportation (which will include a superfast, amphibious, worldwide monorail system), or we'd "rent" a car, boat, etc.!!!!! We'd even be able to pick-up and move to ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD @ THE DROP OF A HAT, WHENEVER WE'D CHOOSE TO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Would ANYONE be able to do THAT in a Free Market, if he/she wanted to???

The whole Venus Project is the work of taking the things that make the civilian population indispensable - rights to private production and distribution - and putting them in the rights of a select few, i.e. a small ruling class. Which makes this idea not so different at all and actually.. a pretty fucking horrible idea.

I don't think we should worry our little heads over how we can influence the stubborn minds of the world. But we can promote change by changing ourselves. What are you going to do right now to contribute positively to the preservation of the Earth? To promote change we must first start with ourselves and our way of thought.

i agree with the movement, only i fear that the transition to a better system will bring upon the world a massive "hang-over" from the current system. i really hope this "hang-over" wont come back to bite us in the ass.
