I've failed this multiple times now. I've got less than half the starting hit points, and I swear Talal's men are far more aggressive than in the video.

@thurdl01 May I suggest a solution. When talal's men attack, just relax and finish them swiftly using short blade counter attacks. Scale the nearby ladder and using the hidden blade dispatch the archers.

@TheFlowMeister Thanks for the suggestion. My actual solution ended up being to flee Jerusalem, backtrack to Damascus to complete all side tasks, complete all side tasks in Acre, then go back after Talal with a lot more hit points, which let me just mow through his men. Game since defeated.

If they do defense break, just keep pressing defense and hit the leg button. Listen to the distinctive sound of a defense break. You'll dodge. After dodging, you can follow up with a quick attack.

my sister's advice for this assasination is to make sure u have full throwing knives then when the ninjas fight u climb up the wooden thing that this guy broke then for a strange reason they get stuck in a corner thow nives at them and any survivors who climb up slash them till they die then do what this guy did to assasinate talal and get back to the burea

Every time you save a civilian, scale a viewpoint or complete a investigation, you will gain a sync point. Every 15 sync points you will gain one sync bar.(health)

When it came time to fight those ninja looking soldiers, I just ran away and followed Talal and killed him. I suck at fighting and now I'm paying for it trying to kill Robert's decoy -_-

Fighting is easy. Practise on counter-attacks and just keep defending until you get a good chance for a counter. Do that until they are all dead. After that you can mix it up a bit but that's the most important thing to learn

Also I forgot to mention that if you get good at counters (it's easy) you can just select the hidden blade and counter with it. It's quite dangerous when you health is low because it can't block but if you pull out the counter-attack it's an instant kill which is useful against assassination targets because if you counter with the sword you'll get the weak counters like punches and stuff.

Well, when I got out of the building, I managed to make the jump to the otherside. And when i got down, I jumped over Talal and assassinate him... I didn't chase him arround the city. Good Video though.

lol i finally got this one done after many many tries. Once I assassinated Talal, I ran to the Bureau, and there were like five guards and I had to own them all before I could enter the bureau. XD

But it´s harder while doing at first time, because you don´t possess the hidden blade and you have only sword and thrown knives. So you wouldn´t assassinate Talal quickly like in this vid, you´d fight with him and his soldiers are coming in the meantime. Today I´ve got to this assassination and it doesn´t seem so easy. (Especially when you don´t have this plenty of life bars!) Anyway thanks for effort to do a video tutor.

You can hit then enemy when he'' s engaging you. In this vid you are only engaging the enemy sometimes, giving him a big hit so he dies. Try letting the enemy walking into your blade.

I LOVED THIS BATTLE! mainly coz i kept chasing talal through the streets and all of a sudden (because i rescued all the citizens) a MASSIVE group of vigilantes grabbed him and started beating him up LOL xD so i made an easy assassination.

When you start chasing him.. jump off the ledge, go up the steps and if yout timed it right when Talal comes down the steps, you can kill him.. then find a ladder and go on the roofs to push/ throw knives/ counter-attack the guards. O and by the way, he has a full bar becuase he beat the game already. I'm not sure how to get the full bar. I think doing free missions in the citys, viewpoints, save citizens, etc.

He has so much health because he beat the game and replayed it. You can gain more health by doing side missions. Every 15 missions completed you get another bar of health/sync.

Talal was my favourite character in AC - he's the only one who tried (maybe cause he actually had the chance) to speak to Altair before his death. I felt sorry for having to kill him ;P
