  • OMG!! 240p is isn't HD!!!

  • That's absolutely amazing, from 100km distnat, in HD, the moon looks like a big grey thing with holes in it. Whereas from here on earth, it only looks like a big grey thing with holes in it. The wonders of science.

  • is it the moon???? i dont think so, its just like icecream

  • Has anyone seen the documentary called "Moon Rising by Jose Escamilla"? Its on Youtube and the creator says that the moons surface is full of different colours and explains the reasoning for this, im no expert on this but can someone please explain to me if what Moon Rising Documentary says is true why does the footage taken by astronauts on the moon look the same as it does in this video and when looking through a telescope? Does the moon really contain different colours on its landscape?

  • I have a video of a glass dome as well as an alien structure. Feel free to take a look. Thanks and Peace

  • The reason we have not made "contact" is because it would be like humans trying to open up a line of dialogue with a turtle. You can talk to him for decades, show him how to do stuff but he will never comprehend what is actually happening. The same goes for us humans and "higher" forms of life, simply our brains are not wired to be able to truly comprehend an advance species. That is why it is so easy to dismiss witnesses as wack jobs. We are dealing with things we can not understand. Much love

  • @sebevan do you know what the Van Allen radiation belt? Search it there is no way a human or spaceship would make it thru 2 hours of radiation alive and still land back too earth with no trace of radiation!! He would of died in a matter of 20min

  • @sofargone915 van allen emailed a correspondant asking why mr van allen simply laughs at you folk(ironic) and says it takes almost a week's orbital time at 1000km to get lethal dosage. Apollo crews passed the whole belt in less than 2 hours, also the most intense area was passed through in just 15 minutes, giving them a dosage of just 1% of the week long lethal dosage.

funny you guys use and manipulate data from a person who actually disses you all.

  • Where the fuck is the flags and lunar landing gear from all the previouse apollo missions left behind? We never went to the moon! We were lied to, it makes no sense that we are the only countrie to send a man on the moon specialy with the tech. We have around our everyday life

  • @sofargone915 russians tried and failed. russians was the fiercest opponent and competitor in the space race, and it fails the logic that you guys spew about america paying them off, in that case russia would have been as rich as america now. also from a high altitude you wouldnt expect to view objects the size of cars do you.

  • HD referred to the original from a Japanese space vehicle. The point was that it was news. High resolution video of the moonscape was generally unavailable. This video was posted 3 years ago before youtube was allowing HD posts.

  • 240 pixels - HD? ~cough~

  • HD my arse

  • Typical garbage black and white video, filmed far enough to not be able to make out any detail what's so ever.

Check out film by Jose Escamila Moon Rising. You will see the real moon not the bullshit that NASA keeps throwing in our faces.

The most incredible discoveries have been kept from the world .

  • wow poor images, wheres the detail..

  • first hd on 240p heheh co za ciule ja pierdole napewno usa

  • it may have been in HD at one point... but to put HDTV as the title in this thing that was apparently copied from Beta to VHS, and back and forth 47 times, is pure bullshit. it look like the same old cellphone quality crap as every other video.

  • looks like a game footage cgi fakers

  • HDTV? i thought you meant 720p or something like that.

  • fake and gay

  • Fake, where are the stars?

  • HDTV? I thought the picture would be better then this...

  • Ur Moon is artificial , that for sure i have no doubt ....for many reasons

First of all: why ur moon do not spin around like any other Moon or planet out there?

Why sonars waves echoes like bell when we scan ur moon?

    Hun...try explain this to me!

That is a very weird sphere near to ur Planet ...never shows her Dark-side , something is not quiet-right on it

  • @GraceBarra First, our moon is tidally-locked to the earth which means that through tidal forces, one side of the moon faces us at all times. Second, our tidally locked moon isn't unique, Pluto's moon Charon is tidally-locked. Third, sonar can't move through space because it's a vacuum. Fourth, there is no "dark side" of the moon. Although we see only one side, both hemispheres of the moon get the same amount of sunlight. If you want proof the moon is real, look up in the sky. Btw, nice engrish.

  • @TheBohrokMan Excuse....I didn't offended any body here . You don't have to answer my questions Sr. About my English: I guess i doing pretty well , because you understood all my questions Sr., By the way i Am try it and improving very well. I can speak and write in French, Spanish, Portuguese , and Japanese,...what bout you ? Be nice with others and learn some manners and ,That might help you be more social .

  • if thiests think the moon is 6,000 years old, how do they explain all the creators?

  • Why sound, vacuum=no sound in space?

  • @jedibill

Maybe your reffering to youtube vids, but there are perfect detailed pics of the moon. Furthermore it isnt the hubble telescopes job to radar the moons surface. Their are sattelites that do this (did this since theyve finished already:P) that orbit the moon. Mars, mercury and some moons of jupiter have already been mapped for the most part trough sattelites. The only problem is that all bodies are rocky and quite uninteresting without going there.

  • por que esta en blanco y negro? se supone que solo se ve asi desde la tierra por lña atmosfera?

  • title should say :

first crappy converted images from hdtv

  • why when nasa crashed their lunar orbiter into the moon wasnt it filmed in this quality???? when they have billions of dollars to work with but they can't get one HD camera up there to film for the public?? what are they so scared of showing us?

  • @cumonurface The alien bases, duh! Turns out we lease space on our moon to the aliens. Apparently they like to come here to mutilate cows and fly around in low orbit with flashing lights...;) j/k but I do see your point

  • Kaguya is very sophisticated lunar explorer and the mission period is 1 year.

Kaguya collected a lot of data, and more images will be available to the world November, 2009 from Japan.

  • john lenard walson's pictures are closer than this. His footage is much closer , now as of june 15 2009 i think they cut him off youtube or maybe even killed him. because he hasn't uploaded any footage for a time, when he ussually uploaded footage roughly every full moon. i hope he's okay

  • @pgruben -John Lenard Walson's is a fraud period. His crappy over zoomed video's are no where near the KAGUYA images. If you believe that he is the only one in the world filming these huge ships in outer space, than you are a fool.

  • I wonder why the craters on the moon are alway perfectly round...like whatever hits the moon makes contact straight down and no craters skim or slash at an angle.

  • I am quoting from a page I found on this subject. "Scientists fired pellets into thick mud; they found that regardless of the angle at which the pellet struck, the crater was almost always round"

it is like a bullet, really small, but if you fire it at something with enough energy it basically explodes when it hits something forming a circular explosion where the energy is released. some craters are not round, but the vast majority are.

  • lol maybe aliens used the moon for target practice

  • well, i know what you mean :p

but i THINK it's because, if you throw a bomb, you also get a perfect round crater, right?

  • pause it 2:20 exectly and look down left looks like a skull a bit

  • Looks nothing like the Apollo footage on just in a few small areas MGM and the cia did a good job on those moonlandings.

  • What gets me is if I go on Google Earth I am able to pick out my car which was parked behind the building that I live in when the satalite image was taken. Yet every shot I see of the moon is distant or unclear.

The Hubble telescope can take images of galaxies beyond the visible stars in the sky and yet they don't seem to be able to closely map out the surface of our own moon? What in the hell were all those tax dollars from citizens spent for? Pretty pictures of cosmic dust and planets to far

  • Many of the best high-res images on google earth are from aeroplane photography, and sat shots come into play at a higher zoom level. As for the Hubble, the resolution is such that we can see things incredibly distant, but not things that are, relatively, a lot closer.

  • Whats that weird sound?...

there is no sound in space!!!

  • well, It can also be done with a computer, does not matter these days, its more what you believe... the did not film the moon landing spot, witch is very weird...

  • That's HDTV? It should be forbidden to be shown on youtube or anywhere else with that bad quality.

  • What is there to see? At that distance, even at 1080p, Yankee Stadium would scarcely take up 1 pixel.

  • i think i saw a mc'donald's

  • Although the sky appears black, the landscape is in full daylight. Therefore, the moon is quite bright. Any photographer will tell you that if you must limit the exposure to see the details of the landscape, fainter objects like stars will appear too dark to be seen.

If you wanted to see stars, you would have to overexpose the lunar landscape. The moon would appear like a white blob but you would get stars.

  • where are all the stars?!

  • jjj

  • Furthermore...on the point of whether or not we landed there before, there are reflective mirrors left on the moon by a number of the Apollo moon missions. These laser reflectors have been used by universities around the world to determine the distance of the moon more precisely. Also, samples of the lunar regolith have been sent to and analyzed by different universities around the world. The lunar soil cannot be recreated exactly on this planet due to its unique chemical signature.

  • They can be put the with a rocket..no men needed.

  • @sebevan this all could have been done UNMANNED,duh

  • @sebevan the russian fired them there ,, google it

  • The reason you don't see stars is because the camera is set for the brightness of the moon. Most stars are MANY orders of brightness fainter than the surface of the moon and therefore will not appear in a properly balanced photo or video.

  • were is our flag at? were is our stuff at when we landed on the moon?

  • you have to know, that this video was made from an orbit around the moon which is about 100 kilometers above the surface.

in this heigth a probe can stay for a long time without consuming a lot of fuel for its course correction

  • its not there, cause they filmed it in a studio back in the late 60's

  • Think it's fake? I just did this: browse the Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology and find the infrared satellite image for 2007/11/07 09:30:00 Sydney time (when the earthrise image was shot). Compare. THE SAME WEATHER PATTERNS! Same cloud band across the lower/western edge of Australia. Same clouds along their east coast. Same cloud mass across Indonesia! If it's a fake, it's a damn good one!

  • Kaguya is made in Japan

  • stars. i mean...

  • where are the starts???? it is supossed to be in the moon, and there is no atmosphere there...so the stars should be visibles there unless the video is a hoax... the tv channel should show a video with the stars there...

  • It's simply because the surface of the moon is so well lit by the sun, that the contrast is too great to see the stars in the shot too. Easy.

  • you go outside and video the stars, look at your video after and there will be no stars on the screen

  • Great, can't wait to see the man on the moon again

  • very cool

  • wow! very beautiful
