The zoom on EX-FH20 is 20X... which doesn't really mean anything but the difference in focal length. In this case the focal length ranges from 4,6mm (26mm equivalent in 36mm) to 92mm (520mm equivalent).
I do love the zoom on EX-FH20. Can't get that close with most of the other cameras in the same price range.
And slow motion stuff is fun even if you can't get such great quality in those modes.
Thanks for that. Appreciated. The main thing is to film in full sunlight where possible. Lower light levels really don't work with this camera. To be honest, I still don't quite understand why there's such a variation in my own vids with the Casio. Sometimes I expect the result to be good and I'm disappointed, the next time I think there won't be enough light and yet it comes out fine.
Dude"!!!!!...amazing...pls..tell me how u keep the good quality while filiming at 210 fps...is amazing...cuz i ve seen other vids os 210...they are not quite good as yours..pls answer...peace...
Thanks again for comments. Yes, it's a great camera. The zoom is amazing (100X handheld no problem) great for macro too. If you get one you won't regret it! One thing: it's excellent at 200 frames per second but at 400fps the quality really drops off, and at 1000 it's for fun experimentation only.
amazing! but i have a question if you filmed it are you able to put it on your pc and edit it for example so what kind of file you get avi or what? plz answer !!

The squirrel looks very scary in slow motion. I'm getting stoked waiting for my new FH25 to arrive.

The funny thing is the squirrel just looks like he's taking his time :D
I gotta persuade my parents to let me spend my money on this camera, it's awesome and reasonably priced!

Ta. It is an AVI file straight out of the camera with no editing. When I do edit I often use the great free software Virtualdub
