I'll provide an example. There was an Armenian city in Cilicia called Hajin. Hajin always maintained autonomy from the Ottoman Empire. In 1920, the Armenians of Hajin resisted a seige by Kemalist troops for eight months without any help from the outside. Only a handful of Armenians survived this seige, and the Turks renamed the city Saimbeyli in tribute to Sayib Bey, who was one of those responsible for this destruction of Armenians. The Armenians you speak of that fought with the french, were volunteers and formed a French Legion. They weren't the only nationality to do this. I'll provide an example. There was an Armenian city in Cilicia called Hajin. Hajin always maintained autonomy from the Ottoman Empire. In 1920, the Armenians of Hajin resisted a seige by Kemalist troops for eight months without any help from the outside. Only a handful of Armenians survived this seige, and the Turks renamed the city Saimbeyli in tribute to Sayib Bey, who was one of those responsible for this destruction of Armenians. Search the main reason to his actions. He had to get the Greeks out of the country during war time. Because, Greeks wore British Uniforms and attacked Turkish groups. It was a huge distraction that had to be eliminated.

Moreover we were under slvery as you know from turks and we act for independency in 1821. All these means we had as nation bad past with turks. So how can u say now that we were the nation that provoked turkey?? Also you didnt answer me (moreover ok if u want i ll accept it was neccecery for us to move from Minor Asia). When i said we "touched" i meant, for the moment of invasion by which all the European Powers were involved.
Where the French,Italy,British etc. invaded.
Secondly, the number of death is too many but we all know most of the deaths were caused by the poor conditions during the movements(hunger,temparatures)
Balkan War was an allied Greek,Bulgaria etc action against the Ottoman Empire to seek a nation.Not vice versa.

most deads were not because of bad conditions and hunger. It was a very well plan from turks in order to achieve the desired "ethnic cleansing".
