Oh I am a happy bunny. I remember hearing this version of this great song when at school in Liverpool. I am very suprised it did not get higher than 34 in the charts, but i heard American Top 40 on KruzFM last week and they played a version by a guy called Robert John that did well in the Billboard chart in 1972. Happy memories and thanks for uploading this song.

i collected glasses at saints rugby club u where the comere 1979..same act everynight..married to sandy posey..drove a big citreon..livrd in skelmesdale..a lovely daughter named debbie..must be 47 now.

I remember this singer. He won on oportunity knocks in the early 70's and made this record.I've still got my copy of it. Was he originally a Gas fitter from Sheffieid who sang around the working mens clubs in his spare time?
