I have a 740 horse all motor 01 LS6 Trans Am, you should check it out I just installed a 250shot wet kit on it last week and it dyno'd at 931rwhp will be posting videos of the dyno run soon

pali311-Yes,lapeer is not the best track,but it's close and my one car has no cage so i don't like to drive far to get the boot. I get the boot there,but it's real close for me. and at times,i have noticed some things are wrong with the timing.

I'll be going to lapeer this fall since i already went this spring. I only have 530hp n/a and you have 600hp. Lets line up this fall and have a friendly race. I'll race my trans am cuz my camaro is way too fast for you. And if you don't want to maybe you and i can just meet there and check our cars out. no big deal.

get some skinnys up front drop the front swaybar and run some drag radials or in the back and your in 11s or high tens all day long

What is there to check? gm over rates the zr1. they rated the z06 at 505hp,but when my bud dynoed his it was only 435hp and 450 after break in miles. i would like to know where the formula got a 600hp dyno??

thats flywheel hp then average 20% drivetrain loss and also depends on what dyno you use better or worse

some are easy to turn and less accurate than ohers

Whats even more strange is a 638hp 3300lb ZR1 can only run 131mph. So, you should check your numbers.

131mph under 550hp. Does your car weigh 3000lbs? Haha. Mine is 3900lbs. Dyno'd at 570rwhp at 6000rpm and climbing. Babying off the line is probably hurting a mph or two but full weight thats what it takes.

I don't think it's a 600hp car and not the 9sec that was stated. My car does near 130mph on motor,it's a trans am and is not even near 600hp I'll be going to lapeer this sunday the 7th,maybe i'll see you there..

please dont' throw stones at me for this but u could also change over to a stalled auto set up and definately be low 11's on your stock axle..my 99 procharged maro SS runs low 11's with a built 4L60E and TCI 3000 stall..but nothing has been touched on the rear..it's still even rocking the stock 3.23 gears...i'm sure u already know this too but it's much less comon to break the rear in the auto's cause u are able to preload it and not shock it by dumping the cluch like the manuals force u to do

i personally have a 600 plus rwhp 97 SS, im from bay city. but mine is a 355 with a F1A procharger :)

what kinda compression did u have before charger? what heads and cam also?f tranny and gears 2. lol i have a 383 and plan on super charging it and i am hopping to have 600hp when all is said and done and since yours is already done id like to try to campare and guess at what ill be able to push out of it.

@bradb69 - 9.0:1 compression, AI ported heads and cam, 7-8psi, McLeod Dual Clutch, that's it, everything else to support the fuel (injectors, pump, programming, etc). Trans, driveshaft, 3:23 axle, suspension, motor mounts, cooling, all stock.

Check my Dyno Vid. All I did since then was pull some timing and upped the boost one or two lbs.. which I prob lost 30hp, so im at 600hp. Ignore the ET since Im running a stock 10 bolt and not launching.

Yes but hp isnt always the key...In drag racing one of the most important factors is traction. And as he stated had plenty of trouble with it
