@seasonofpain I understand it's Celine Dion's song...honestly, one of her best. But he didn't "pull it off"...It was average. The top notes were shaky. The biggest note the part of the song he performed was absolutely terrible...the rest was just like a regular karaoke bit. Just because it's Celine Dion, doesn't mean he didn't basically butcher it, and not in a good way.

@seasonofpain No he didn't "pull it off"...he botched it. You can't do a song that big with a voice that weakly based, period. I'm a singer so I know the difference between a powerful voice that can carry a song like this, like Charice, and an average voice that let's the song control it rather than the voice controlling the song. People can give a standing ovation, I don't care. They're more than likely not musically trained, but just clapping for his effort instead of his voice.

@greedywhack This song...it's too emotionally heavy for a boy his age to truly do it right, considering at that age, he hasn't experienced somethin of this magnitude to really understand the meaning and where Celine was coming from when it was written...So it's simply a karoake cover...Nothing more, nothing less. It's not an insult or "jealousy"...it's an opinion based on my own education and experience with music, end of story.

@sr1129 That could be very true...but at the same time, by 25, I highly doubt he will be able to sing a song this big. He may have the talent and experience by then, but singing it in the original key would be difficult. I'm not saying puberty ruins every young singer's voice. I've been a first tenor my whole life, I'm 18 and still singing high soprano lines with no trouble at all. But I've been training in music since I was 6 so it's a bit different. He's good though.
