  • Saw him on Montel years ago and Montel said he thought (as I always did) that the singer was African-American. Great voice & brings back good memories.

  • One of those songs/tunes I dug from the get go! When this tune came on the radio the volume went up! The best cover band I ever heard doing this tune was a group called Tobacco Road playin' at the old Red Onion in Redondo Beach in the early 80's.

  • @Tmonie1986 Too Right

  • @dxsmackdown8 I know I just now found out myself. I don't know why I'm so shocked but I've loved this song since it came out and always thought he was Black. Awesome song.

  • Love it!!

  • Bobby Caldwell's has written many songs that were hits for him but also for Chicago, Amy Grant Boz Skaggs, Peter Cetera, and on, and on. Most the time he travels with a basic band set-up. However, should you ever get a chance to see his "Big Band" show you'll enjoy! He sounds like Frank Sinatra.

  • Totally agree with you ... This song sounded in my head and in my heart ... I finally found this jewel of You tube Now this song is on my playlist..Thanks for share !!!!

  • This song is just...Wow! I can't even find the words. The comments posted say it best masterpiece, timeless & amazing...When this song hits the 3:26 mark that melody on the keyboard just gives me chills. This song definitely would make my classic's list.

  • A true masterpiece, viva Bobby, well done !!!!

  • bobby is simply ..AMAZING.. i love to c a white boy get down like this.

  • This totally blew me away, when I saw he was white. I love this song, regardless of what color he is. The smooth beat and lyrics are amazing!

  • You people are silly. I (somehow) knew he was white from when I started to listen to him, which was when I was about 4 years old. xD But I absolutely love Bobby. Could NEVER get tired of his music. <3

  • @AMORDEGENERATE ...I don't know how you "knew" he was white by "listening" to him lol...maybe you don't know but most of the music that sound like this was black singers....

  • @treestar Well, I was like, 4 years old at the time when I started to listen to him. I didn't know for sure, but I just naturally assumed he was white. xD Didn't know how to distinct white voices from black ones. lol.

  • Sounds like Boz Scaggs!

  • @peppermint383 ..Also I thought the same ... even thought it was a song from "CHICAGO"

  • Love and music know no color. Amazing song.

  • Thats goes to show you music has no color....unless your on acid or somthing like close to that...yeah me 2 dcelis96...sure thought he was Brown...but music has no color unless we as a people are program in such a way to only think in a box...that gos for me 2.
