and on alot of his songs you will find that the bass isnt actualy 8-bit, simply because 8-bit baselines tend to sound extremely distorted when played loudly.
@Jinearis it's an old gameboy track called 'akita' - you can find it on a compilation on itunes mixed in with a live version of 'hey kate'

It's really simple.
Bass not all the way up.
Treble all the way up.
