How can this insane manipulation by the "church" not be obvious? I had the unfortunate experience of living with a "former" church member who was kicked out for being "out ethics" but used everything he learned in the church of scientology to control and belittle me. It was emotionally and physically abusive and I am so thankful for the internet because it has removed the extreme fear about saying anything negative against the CoS.
We are told in the interviews spouses are separated so was the children for so many months doing their own appointed tasks. If the ex-wife only met her spouse once or twice a year; no matter how many years she was married to that man there was no way she can identify any sign of distress or marked left on the body.
Serious accusations of abuse within the Scientology church--some of the worst acts being allegedly committed by its leader--is somehow "not worth his [David Miscavige] time". How is that an example of good PR? PEOPLE ARE LEAVING HIS CHURCH IN DROVES ON ACCOUNT OFRAMPANT ABUSE and Miscavige doesn't make a personal effort to address the issue head on? Even Rupert Murdoch (the vile snake) has made press statements & public appearances regarding the News of the World scandal. Why not Miscavige?
I wonder if the women have been abused. It's interesting how 3 of them said they know every inch of their ex-husbands' bodies. I suppose they are being very careful keeping their stories aligned. This is pretty funny. The Church says it got rid of 2 members because they assaulted followers, but did not turn it over to authorities. If they had done this, a legal paper trail would be in place. If the two Seo Org. members who were being beaten had called the police there would be a legal paper trail in place & they could have sued for big money.
