@ALmerzaAsad I will do a video on reversing gray hair in the near future to be more specific as this video of mine is 2 years old. Subscribe to keep up to date on it!
@secretsoflongtivity tahnks for the vid zak can you help me find good quality of he shou wu pills. i heard ,ost of the stuff around are contaminated wirh mercury amd other bad things that are bad for you. i lprefer pills cos there more convenient
used to get it long time ago.. was in ball form i think...got from chinese herbalist... does it help the hair get darker? i have a lot of hair a few grey i dont want to go all grey.
@pahoboye It can help, nothing's is a cure-all, but I have seen numerous people get some amount of hair colour back whether it was just some to even in some cases their whole head.
Informative video. I've been on/off Fo-Ti for years, but I've never noticed a change in my energy while taking it. But I can tell you that several times I have noticed grey whiskers that just dissapeared! As far as the hair on my head I do have a few grey hairs, but it never seems to get any worse. I usually take it in capsule form from the health food store. But you can save a lot of money by purchasing on the internet. Be patient it takes time. Beta-Sitosterol is a great DHT blocker!
Ok this is the story (anyone with any info plz step in & take a stab at it)
I have a tinning hair issue!! on side of hair is going white also. Now it doesn't stop there, I also had thyroid issue, and hormone imbalanced.
I been taking it twice a day for about 6months now.
Although there is no abusive hair gain, but when I did a blood test at the Doctors, my hormone level, and my thyroid showed up perfect!! the unbalance iS GONE! but no hair gain YET! any answers?
@TrueImage73 It's very rare and it's best to use an extract or the whole herb, this way you'll miss whatever product is causing that for a small portion of people.
@treverbettis You can simmer them in a pot of water for 30 minutes, strain and then do a second boil and simmer for 30 minutes and strain and add the two decoctions together for one equal strength of tea. Make enough to last 3 days or so. He Shou Wu contains 42mg of zinc per 100grams, which is equal to oysters, a food many people tout as being high in zinc.
@ahstarzz In Chinese Medicine if you are what's known as yang deficient and you take too much of this herb you may experience loose stool. That is pretty much the only side effect possible with this herb. It's perhaps the safest herb in Chinese Herbalism.
@sedryco Yep, he shou su caplsules are available. They contain an extract and that' great to use, just remember, you get what you pay for. If you're paying $10-15 for a bottle of 60 capsules you're getting really low grade ho shou wu.
@SecretsOfLongevitythanx for replying, i buy 10£ bottle of 40 capsuls(yanxue shengfa capsule) he told me had a lot of he shou wu and some other ingredients
I bought some prepared he shou wu similar to what's shown in the video. I was told to boil it and drink, but how much of the stuff do i put in if i am to drink 1 cup in the morning?
@dsconja Roughly 1 tbsp of herb per cup of water. Personally, I'd do a cups worth of the herb and add it to about a litre of water. Simmer it for 1/2 and hour, strain it off and repeat it twice more (1/2 hour each time). You could have a bit less then 3 litres of tea and you can drink it over the course of 3 days by keeping it in the fridge and heating it up again when you are going to drink it :)
I bought some prepared he shou wu similar to what's shown in the video. I was told to boil it and drink, but how much of the stuff do i put in if i am to drink 1 cup in the morning?
@haversham12 My experience has been that the best form to take it is in the form of an extract. The one I recommend can be found in the link in the info box below this video.
@thehourcup Hah, I have yet to use the dream herb. My friend has some I should get some and try it out. I am guessing that it doesn't since He Shou Wu has been stewed in a black bean sauce and thus has a slightly sweet beany taste.
is also called FO-ti right? and it doesn't cancer right? I just started using is for less then a week, because my hair loss, does anyone know if it'll actually will work? and how long should I continue on using it?
@m33lad It is also called fo-ti, yes :) It can help hair loss, yes, but there are no specifics as to how long you should use it for in that case. It depends on the root causes for your hair loss. It's a good general tonic that can be taken without negative side effects, so you can use it indefinitely!
I believe MelanPlus for men and women works as well it also contains He Shou Wu as well as other vitamins known for helping maintaining healthy looking hair
I think MelanPlus for men or women works it contains He Shou Wu, saw palmetto, Biotin, PABA, Zinc, L-Tyrosine, beta-Sitosterol, Niacin, Vitamin E, B2, B5, B6 and B12
i was reading comments and was stunned -only eat meat 2-year and grains--i wondered where to get goji berry cheaper--I know they sell it in china town;do you know the chinese name of goji berry?
Goji berries (pronounced gou chi or gou zhi in Chinese) from Chinatown are kind of iffy. Although many herbs are good quality from Chinese markets, goji berries are the one thing that are often tampered with. Non-organic ones are often dyed and dipped in a syrup that makes them sweeter and has a preservative in it.
The mountain rose herb goji berries are a great price.
OK, he's late 30s, maybe early 40s. but hey, my grandmother kept her black hair into her 60s. She didn't know the first thing about Chinese medicine..
And that high-pitch sound in the intro reminds me of Mini-Me in one of the Austin Powers movies sliding down an air-duct, going, "EEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeee!!!!"
Absolutely, he also said that ginseng, licorice, eating meat only twice a year, avoiding grains, exercising twice a day (martial arts and qi gong), meditating, abstaining from ejaculation and living in nature added to his lifespan.
Depend son the make I guess. In Chinatown you can get "Shou Wu Pian" which are He Shou Wu pills. They're great. Basically a he shou wu extract stuck together with something sticky like honey or some other paste.
These would be great while traveling since it's harder to keep up an herbal tea regimen on the road. The hot or warm tea helps with absorption by dilating capillaries in the stomach. So you don't get that with pills.
Hi I am only 30 years and I am suffering from white hair. is there anyway to get ride off the white hair?
I am trying Get Away Gray I am on the forth bottle but the white hair invasion has been slowed down but not stopped.
