  • Bravissimo!

  • 7:44 Look at his smug mug. I love this guy!

  • 7:00 Looks like it was rewound... her hair goes back in place.

  • @JaimieAppleton Ha you're right, I didn't notice.

  • in sua camera serrata in sua camera serrata finchè io voglio star dovrà sì sì sì sì sì sì

  • can you imagine playing Rossini at half speed?bullshit that's not possible! I'm italian, and I must say that his pronunciation is quite clear and good

I only say that if you want to sing the fast section at this crisp (and VERY nice!) tempo you should have a crystal clear diction, and he doesn't have one.

If you are Italian I am quite surprised you find his diction "quite clear and good". I don't. I can only clearly understand only SAPRA'!, MORTA! POTRA'! at the end of the fast section.... The rest is a sort of teutonic/saxone fast pattern with a hint of Italian.

  • i can see you know italian:)

well, I don't say he's perfect, but i understand him very well! I could say, instead, that sometime he's lack of support in the voice, expecially in sort passages, and he falls in some shitty "empty notes"... I study abroad, and I promise you that most singers have no idea of what's an italian pronunciation.. :S

I'm thinking of giving some italian lessons.

anyway, I like John's performace, though, he's funny, hehe

  • sei italiano! maccheccavolo, haha

  • in Islanda!...E come ci sei finito?

  • @xafnndapp Of course, there are plenty of native Italians who can't do it either...

  • @AkhmedSync Possibly. But definitely more clearly than non-Italians. And anyway, my point is still: What's the point of doing it so fast mumbling something that can sounds like a mixture of Italian, Finnish, Chinese and Hungarian, being Italian or not??

  • I love this aria. Check out Jonathon Lemalu's version.

  • maybe some1 need to explain him how to cover the emission

and this mania to make the long final note to gain an applaus...

    crap

  • That's a weird line about Figaro's (pretend) daughter named Marcellina - in Le nozze, Berta's name is Marcellina and she's his mother. Hmm...

  • What a great buffo!

XDDDDDDDDDDDD

PD; gracias por los enlaces ^^ (no he podido contestar antes XD)

  • -no requiere mayor explicación- XDDDD
