@TheRealGaMeRsRuS Are you that dumb to realize that the hand loading the shell is the same one that pushes the bolt closed? It's impossible for that to happen. With a semi auto there is the possibility but I've never done that or gotten close to doing it. Be smart when you're using guns.
that is very cool. kind of makes me wonder though, if you can just get around hunting laws with tricks like this and ghost loading, whats the point of the law in the first place?
I notice that you had very little support on the first shot due to the round being in your hand. What is the accuracy like on both the initial shot and the second?
@hairypooter14 You are stupid, that is one of the most over used "Jokes" on Youtube gun videos. Call of Duty sucks and is a game designed for little kids.
@rodbeardo The point is that after you shot your last shell, you can pop one in before you have to reload. I don't think anyone wants to do this with multiple rounds because you could just use the magazine.
@jmcmullan814 In states with ammo restriction for bird hunting (IE three shells max) you could get an extra shot if your previous 3 missed. Or if you downed one bird and another flys by before you have time to reach into your pocket and grab three more.
@jmcmullan814 the point is that when an enemy is coming for you, and you have that shell in your hand, and you shoot the enemy, and another comes up, you can do this to get rid of that enemy, buying you time to reload.
ahh i see have two in the mag one in the chamber then you do your little fancy reload trick that makes 4 rounds so insted of the normal three you get for duck hunting well in my state anyways.
@ArmednSafe ....There's a pretty good point to it. Though I'm not explaining it again. Something to do with laws and ammo restrictions. Blah blah. Read the comments. Also, that'd just be boring.
I've done this as a way to change ammo type faster, rack the slide with the gun tipped to it's right side and make sure the ejected shell and if there were any released from the magazine tube would also fall free and change from say 00 buck to a slug in quick succession. Plus it's kinda fun to mess around with when plinking.
@echoside190 For switching loads, the Benelli Novas have a button on the slide that prevents another shell from coming out of the magazine when you pull the slide back. It's pretty slick, too bad not any other manufacturers (that I'm aware of) put that feature in their pump-guns.
That would definitely be a nice feature to have.. I guess there are at least a few reasons they command a pretty penny. I run a Mossberg 590 8+1 so it's a basic no frills pump lol. The feature may be held by a patent but it looks like someone could make another type to produce, it's something I'd pay a little extra for at least..
@ArmednSafe In short, you can only fit so many rounds in the mag. Once its empty, if you need an extra shot, its there. Or if you need to change ammo type (say, change from shot to slug...) you can rack it empty, and slip a slug in.
@ArmednSafe *face palm* If you use a firearm for tactical purposes, where you would need to reload like this, you will usually have a shell holder on the side of your weapon, vest, or your belt, where you can quickly grab a single shell.
@SUP3RZ0MB1E Well, then the whole "trick" would be different. It would consist of emptying the gun, leaving the action open, grabbing a shell from a shell holder, putting the shell in the action, closing the action and firing. I could see that as useful. The trick with the shell in your hand still seems useless in a practical shooting situation.
@SUP3RZ0MB1E OK. Then the answer to my original question would be, "It's not practical. The point is it looks cool." And that is OK. I was just trying to understand what they were doing.
@ArmednSafe Its a practical thing in certain situations. What they seem to be doing in the video is practicing. Im honestly not sure why they called it a "trick" as its a pretty common practice with pump shotguns.
@ArmednSafe Hold a slug in your hand when engaging a room with a buckshot loaded magazine. if you come across an unexpected distant target, you're already setup to combat load a slug with this motion.
@ablahblah54 Except in most pump guns, when you rack the slide back another round comes out of the magazine and you'll get a double feed. I say most because the Benelli Nova has a button on the slide to prevent another round from coming out of the magazine. Look at the previous comments. It's been pretty well established that this has no practical application and is just for fun.
@AdmiralGST No, a firm grip on the slide of a pump gun is CRITICAL in a gunfight. They wouldn't jeopardize the functioning of their weapon for 1 round of ammo. If they need a slug, they would load it into the magazine and rack the slide once. This trick is just for fun, a novelty.
@SecondhandSilence No, it's not. No one is going to go around with a shell in their hand. If they need to switch ammo types, they'll grab it from a side saddle or something like that, shove it into the magazine and rack the slide.
@ArmednSafe Thats actually the only thing that this trick is for. Assume you have 4 more buckshot in your magazine, are you gonna rack it 4 times to get to the slug you just put in? And you would pull the slug out of the saddle, then do the switch, you dont have to carry it in your hand all day. Youre a fucking idiot.
@SecondhandSilence If you just put a slug in the magazine, you would just have to rack the action once. If the magazine still had ammo in it and you tried this you would get a double feed. If you need a slug, feed one into the magazine and rack the action.
@ArmednSafe How dont you understand such a simple idea? If you need to immediately switch from shot to a slug and you still have more shot in the magazine than you will have to rack it multiple times to get to your slug. If you do a crossover than you will replace only whats in the chamber. And thats why tactical shotguns have that button on the pump that prevents the magazine from feeding into the chamber.
This is the only reason this technique exists. FACE THE FACTS!
@SecondhandSilence I don't think you know how a tube magazine works. And not all pump guns have a button on the slide to prevent another shell from coming out of the magazine. Mossberg 500s and Remington 870s don't. As far as I know the only pump guns that do are the Benelli Nova series.
@ArmednSafe I said tactical shotguns. And it doesnt have to be on the pump. On a Moss its behind the trigger guard. I doubt any shotgun would lack a slide release. You lack really basic thinking skills.
@SecondhandSilence We weren't talking about the slide release. I quote you, "And thats why tactical shotguns have that button on the pump that prevents the magazine from feeding into the chamber." That's very dishonest of you. And stupid because your words are printed below.
@ArmednSafe I'm over this conversation. You're such a dork. The shell stop on some tactical shotguns, like the binelli nova which you stated, does the same thing as the slide release for this maneuver, it stops the magazine from loading your next shot. Go to bed, think about it. Read a fucking book, go for a run. Hopefully then your gears will finally tumble into place. It will be like the first time you saw the light of day.
@ArmednSafe lets say you use the magazine in a cqb enviornment but o you know you only have one shell left in the magazine and you can hear 2 ppl going towords you you wont have time to reload your shotgun easy fix for the problem just grab a shell from your belt and do the trick reload on their asses
@HOTTESTHERE You haven't thought very hard about this have you? If you only have one round in the magazine, you have 2 shots left (if your working the action after each shot like you should). And it would be faster just to shove that round in the magazine instead of awkwardly hold it in your hand that is working the slide. It's just a novelty for fun, it has no useful purpose.
You're certainly not HITTING anything much smaller than the broad-side of a barn with that "form". You're SPANKING the trigger, and your left elbow is twitching...??
@123img1 My form works well for me. I hit shit, and I do it well. The only thing I'm spanking is your critique, and my elbow moved slightly, once. This video had nothing to do with accuracy, form, proper elbow stillness, or baking cakes. It's about the darn reload. Period. So shush! :)
@thiroch "OWNED" ?? haha, yeah, in this; "sissy, little, sit-in-your-mommy's-basement-"VIRTUAL"-world" - - - you can "OWN" someone all day and all night long too like that BWWWWAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAA!!!! Point is (and others have made it too: What good is a firearm "trick", if it does "NOT" involve the WHOLE POINT of "SHOOTING"??? i.e and e.g; "ACCURACY"...THAT, is what firearms, and shooting are all about...otherwise you might as well "juggle", or pull rabbits outta yer hat, or whatever..
@123img1 hahahaha....are you angry little "gun expert"?...... or are you just mad cuz you can't do what the guy does in the video??? and yes..... OWNED!!!
OH!!! Here is what you're wanting (needing?) to hear: "Very good trick...never seen that one before...your hand moved REALLY FAST...and the round made it into the chamber/barrel"...(but I still wonder why not juggle, or play the "Shell Game", or some other slight-of-hand trick? It's a firearm - shoot "something" ... "accurately", or stay home, no? I apologize, as I am CERTAIN that I've missed "the point".
@123img1 You're a genuine fucking scatter-brain, aren't you? 5+ comments to prove a point completely irrelevant to my video. I'm sorry about the ADHD; I really am. But you need to remind your parents that youtube isn't good for someone who takes the short bus to school. Go take your god-damn pills and shutup.
Why do you have a desert camo pattern on your 500 when you're apparently not in the desert? Stands out and just looks ugly. Also you should try to reload two in succession, not just one.
@AdmiralGST No particular reason really. Mossberg actually manufactures it with this powder-coat pattern on it. I just got it because the price was right. I'm quite aware that I'm not in the desert though. And please, dont mention Call of Puty. I F**king hate that game. :)
WHy are you guys dissing this? It a one shot chamber so this trick could be reapply helpful in hunting or possible war. And its a trick NONE of you guys could do

Why not just edit out the "jackass" part? LOL
Most people tend not to want to make themselves look like jackasses.

Why do you have a desert camo pattern on your 500 when you're apparently not in the desert? Stands out and just looks ugly. Also you should try to reload two in succession, not just one.
AdmiralGST 7 months ago
@AdmiralGST No particular reason really. Mossberg actually manufactures it with this powder-coat pattern on it. I just got it because the price was right. I'm quite aware that I'm not in the desert though. And please, dont mention Call of Puty. I F**king hate that game. :)

@smigglenarf How much did you pay for it?
AdmiralGST 7 months ago
@AdmiralGST I think I paid $300, brand new.

@AdmiralGST hey fucktard, only one shell fits in the chamber
zachplaysfallout3 7 months ago
@zachplaysfallout3 Hey simpleton, succession means one after the other, not at the same time.
AdmiralGST 7 months ago
WHy are you guys dissing this? It a one shot chamber so this trick could be reapply helpful in hunting or possible war. And its a trick NONE of you guys could do
NadrojH 7 months ago

CptSmokeAlot 7 months ago
@NadrojH This trick is very easy to do. I do it while shooting trap all the time.

Tell us when you can reload 5 at a time; then it would actually mean something.
iZallen 8 months ago
@iZallen Still can be a useful trick. One extra shot reloaded that fast is still pretty cool.
MiniDevilDF 8 months ago
@iZallen Alright, uhm. Sure. Cute request; but my chamber only holds one round. So, ahh. No. :)
