@ScottyA222 But USC has already made that deal that no NFL can claim the coliseum. It is the only home of USC football. Im sorry to inform you that there is no possible way an NFL team is going to touch the coliseum for quite the next years to come. Rose bowl is different since UCLA can deal with that situation but above all, USC can veto whatever NFL team comes for the coliseum. Thank God too because I hate any NFL team that tries to take the Trojans home field.
@Iminsightful The players might make more money now, but if you don't think they care about winning I don't think you watched the reigning champions play for even 2 seconds last year. Those guys played hurt, many of them couldn't continue playing, and they never quit. This idea that the players don't care because they make so much money, sometimes it's true, but sometimes it's not true.
@leapjrh I agree. The Packers really wanted it. But now guys are missing games because of a pulled groin! Im not doubting that it is painful one bit because I played with one. But let me tell you about a little guy by the name of Ronnie Lott. In the NFC championship (I forget which year... 85?) he broke his finger and it was too deformed to move. The trainers told him he couldn't play with it. So he told them to CUT OFF his own finger so he could keep playing. Thats the heart I'm talking about.
