I saw the Mish at the Astoria in London about easter time 1988 on the children tour, wish I could have attend more gigs, awesome live, it's just a shame the record industry didn't give them enough airplay. This was my favourite period for good music, long live goth rock !
Tower of Strength is without a doubt the greatest Homage to fans ever written and the song is just completely EPIC live. Especially when sorounded by thousands of others who GET the song and sing and mimmick along. Never experienced anything like it since and never will again.
i was at this gig and met the guys after along with miles hunt!!! anyone else there???

This is the one song I have to listen to with headphones on and volume HIGH. A powerfully emotive song, really sets the skin alight.
Awesome!

First off, I really do like this song. When I first heard it back in '93, it was, it is an opus.
Secondly, the beginning to me with the drum machine has always sounded like the beginning of the song "Shout" by Tears for Fears.
Anyways, great music.
