  • to say jack white is more dedicated then edge and jimmyis fucking sad shut the fuckupyou need to go die for saying stupid shit if i ever see you i will cut your head off

  • Where concert from this video have been played?

  • See that? That's blues.

  • why was his fingers bleeding ?

  • @monsters247 I've been wailing on the guitar pretty hard before. You hit that high e string too hard, it could break the skin. I dunno, hangnail?

  • @monsters247 sometimes you can just hit the right spot but if your in the zone you don't really care if your fingers in the way.

  • I could watch this over and over again and still be left breathless. in Under the great white northern lights jack said that he feels like he has to work hard in order to create something and he makes it harder for himself on purpose. it's like he said here that man's got to work hard and fight. i truly admire his dedication and passion for what he does.

This man literally bleeds for music. That's more than impressive.

  • and the rock rolls on......

  • Even gods can bleed

  • What is this song?! It's KILLING me!! Not the black and white one, the epic Jack White one!

  • @TheNatashaPotter I think its Blue Vains by The Raconteurs, but I'm not sure

  • @TheNatashaPotter is Blue Vains by the Raconteurs, pretty sure man

  • @MisterGhostbuster ya. sadly, the studio version is weird and not as good, though if you ever see them live, they ALWAYS do this one.

  • It still amazes me, how one so simple instrument as the guitar can get that kind of diversity from three different men!

You got Jimmy Page, who is one the best guitar players ever!

You have The Edge who is one of the best music writers ever... i mean, he can make three or four notes, sound as if that is the only thing any one would ever need... he is, to put it simple, a genius!

And then there is Jack White, who is one of the most energetic and emotional guitar players i've ever seen!

  • Does any one have the slightest idea where is this originally from? I remember watching nearly every clip with Blue Veins after seeing It Might Get Loud just to find this, but to no avail.

  • that guitar has a built-in microphone.

  • Anyone know the name of the song/artist in the black and white clip?

  • @SuperDayv I want to know too :)

  • @SuperDayv Just rewatched and it says right in the clip. Gary Davis "Death don't have no mercy in this land"

  • @SuperDayv

    Artist : Reverend Gary Davis

Song : Death Don't Have No Mercy

  • True Musician!

  • That's exacally what I look for! This scene was in my mind, now I can watch it clearly again and again and again 'till the world's circling

  • @666DastoX666 Im glad you said that. The reason I posted this was because I couldn't find it anywhere on youtube.

  • My 3 most influences in music:

Jack White : Showed you don't need many good, electric fancy stuff to make good music with a soul

Dave Grohl : Showed after all those struggels with nirvana and all the band members of the foo fighters to just keep going and keep the love for music and performing...an amazing musician in guitar,drum,vocal..everything

Kurt Cobain : Showed me you don't need to be skilled on your instrument..If you do it with passion you will always be amazing and unique...

  • It´s not a gibson, it´s a gretsch. I mean, you don´t be requested to participate in a film with jimmy page casually, you are not invited to the stage by bob dylan or the rolling stones casually.

  • someone down described him as one bad ass mother fucker. That´s the best description of JW. Truly one of mi favourite, not only guitar player, but musician, artist in my life. You can be a virtuoso (like satriani) but that´s nothing without soul (That´s why satriani is valium and hendrix it´s like an amphetamine) Jack HAS soul. Like hendrix, clapton, cobain, lennon... First time I listen death letter WS cover, my world changed.

  • When did his fingers start bleeding? I didn't see it.

  • does anyone know what guitar he is using?

  • @nothinking123 Its a super-customized, three pickup gretsch.

  • @0007ManMountain Yeah figured it out right after i posted the comment.

  • @nothinking123 It's a costumized gibson ;)

  • @nothinking123 He calls it "Triple Green Machine". It's a Gretsch Anniversary Jr. with (here it comes):

    - Mini Theremin

    - Three TV-Jones Pickups (MIddle one is a booster pickup)

    - In-built Boss MXR Micro Amp (Gives him an extra distortion used in solo/rage moments)

    - In-built Green bullet harmonica mic.

    - More unknown switchers and controllers

  • @nothinking123 a guitar simular to what he is using (because i dont know all the customs he used) is the white penguin. the reissues are like 10-20k. the original can be up to 80,000

  • @nothinking123 It's a Gretsch Anniversary Jr. that's been modified by Randy Parsons with the double cutout, three pickups, and Green Bullet harmonica mic built in. Pretty much one of the coolest guitars ever.

  • @nothinking123 Custom Gretsch Anneversary Jr. with theremin nub and Green bullet harmonica mic built in.

  • @nothinking123 its a grestch, i forget which one but he changed it up, by having someone make it a double cut away, and he had someone ad a green bullet harmonica mic on the side.

  • It's his guitar that get the sound, he's using special guitars, his usual guitar is just a piece of plastic, as he says.

  • It takes a real man to play like a pro when your fingers are bleeding. Go Jack!

  • Jack White = One Bad Ass Mother Fucker

  • PLZ guys...how the hell can i get jack's white sound? effects? pedals? is it the guitar itself as stated in this documentary??

  • the edge suck jack white rules

  • How the hell are his fingers bleeding? The friction from the strings? Seriously brah... damn.

  • All three of them are beyond amazing..but to me..Jack White has the true dedication towards music:) He's been my biggest influence on guitar by far :)

  • @williammoseleyfan101 truly, but it feels almost sacraligious to put jackie boy in front of jimmy page. Jacks got the charisma.

  • @0007ManMountain - YEah..your right..but I guess Jack has had a bigger influence.. But I',m getting really into Led Zeppplin!! So, I'm getting more into Jimmy PAge. And The Edge..I've already loved..I don't know if I could love him anymore

  • @0007ManMountain so does Jimmy, and Jimmy has had a much greater contribution to the development of music in recent years

  • Jack White I LOVE YOU!!!

  • Does anyone know from where is this performance?

  • Jack White is the most important person in my life! I love him.

He inspires me to make good music! I want to be as good as him one day.

  • @xScissorhands1 me too. hes very insight.

  • Awesome clip! Thanks for uploading!

  • @CubeableGame thanks dude. you got some nice videos up too.

  • @CubeableGame no probs. i take clip requests ;)

  • ive seen that documentary a few times now. All three of 'em are geniuses.

  • That was from that docemtary " it might get loud" and that was a pretty sweet guitar
