@scotca2008 Don't get me wrong, I like a good remake it it's really a good one although I tend to prefer the originals (for example, White Lion's version of Radar Love is so much better than Golden Earing's). It's more remarkable to come up with something out of nothing that to take something and make it another way.

@piloneman Yeah, the Dokken version is really good! The lead-vocals here are Dee Dee Magno, who went on to star in Wicked on Braodway -among other shows. I love her voice!

yes, the Dokken version (original) is better, much so. That being said, I enjoyed this pop version when it came out a half dozen years after the original (actually I was shocked, still don't know the story as to how it got to them as a song to do!)

@fairywngs hey saw ur comment but u should search for a program that allows u to copy the songs off youtube im not sure the name of it but there is one that takes the songs u like off youtube and makes them in to mp3's for u just a fyi tip then u can get all the party's music.

Fantastic version!! I've never heard this one. The original 12 inch on Interscope Records sent out to DJs was pretty lame. House vocal & dubs (both had little to do with the original feel of the song) plus the 7 inch version. Ultimix did a fantastic remix using the 7 inch version and that was my saving grace. Still-this one kicks ass!! Thanks for sharing.

This was my band as a teen. I even met them in '92 when I was 13. They were SO nice! One year someone broke into my car and stole some of my The Party cd's. So far I haven't replaced the first album they did. Anyone have one they can spare? I miss the songs.
