Even though my political viewpoints lean more toward Socialism than Capitalism, it's awful to pay tribute to a system of government that intentionally starved its own people (the Soviet Union.)

You're paying tribute to the ones who have made Communism a vulgar word. Who knows what good Socialism could do for the planet if we followed Marx's ideology closer.

communism, if i understand correctly, incorporates the government with the economy. Personally, I wouldnt/ don't trust the government with my funds. Everyone in the government is corrupt. in any government, you have corruption. At least with capitalism, I'm in control of my future
