  • So this is the guy who wrote the racist newsletters. They seem to go along quite well. Nice run Paulie, hope to laugh at your rants once again on Alex Jones soon.

  • Which one of you wrote the racist newsletter, hmm?? FUCK OFF

  • @TheRimelo James B. Powell did

  • two champions of freedom

  • If you wanna download this mp3 go to ezmp3grab doht cohm.

  • Lew Rockwell for Pres... oh wait... nevermind.

  • @Weapon01 nice

  • @Weapon01 That genuinely amused me, so um thank you. Ha Ha

  • If our CIA has made 50 attempted assassinations of world leaders it certainly has not been too successful. I agree with Ron Paul 99.99% of the time but I have a hard time buying that...otherwise the CIA is not as good as we'd like to think

  • @NCIcaucus CIA did a pretty good job on Ms. Bhutto. And Karzai's opposition. And all of Saddam Hussein's enemies.

  • paul and rockwell pander to racists, tax cheats and nut cases; look at ron paul's newsletters

  • @sfiorare but tats just the worst of the bunch

  • @Tezlaze - ron couldn't even win one state primary in 2008, not one

  • @sfiorare Alot has changed since then. Times magazine proclaimed him “The God Father of the Tea party movement” and don’t forget the media is completely bias, I mean I don’t even watch fox news, Cnn,ect… because of it. I like Russia today because they cover the other side of the story (you know the side of the news that the major news networks don’t want you to hear).

  • @Tezlaze - being godfather of the tea party is like being pope of an insane asylum

  • @sfiorare NO being pope of an insane asylum is like being head of this presidential administration and last. I don’t see what’s so insane about a guy not lead by special interest.

  • @Tezlaze - right, i suppose you think the mises institute has no special interests; google 'Who Wrote Ron Paul's Newsletters?' and see what ron's former staffers had to say about ron paul and how he panders to the lowest common denominator

  • @sfiorare give me an exact link

  • @Tezlaze - i don't think 'you tube' allows links; it says "Error, try again" when i include the link; just google: 'Who Wrote Ron Paul's Newsletters? - Reason Magazine'

  • @Tezlaze His "special interest group" is: Liberty-loving Americans. And he "panders" to the Constitution.

  • @Tezlaze "...couldn't win one state primary..." : an indictment on the Republicans. Now every neocon is using the language of Dr. Paul without credting him: just YouTube the 2008 Republican debates. Ron Paul could EASILY beat Obama in2012, but the Repubs won't nominate him.

  • If you watch closely, the lizard people are manipulating the vid to distract from what Ron has to say.

  • Lew Rockwell is a G

  • The government should do this, the government should do that, ad infinitum. Friends, the government IS the problem.

  • 9:07

Ron looks like "this is awkward" here, lol

  • To be fair: what was the controversy surrounding Lew Rockwell's ghostwriting for Ron Paul? I need to know: the Wikipedia article has been re-written too many times for me to make heads of tails of it.

  • It's bunk, an infantile smear at best, Ron Paul and Lew Rockwell are still very good friends so Ron obviously knows it's BS, Lew is not very fond of the beltway "libertarians" over at Reason, and they're not fond of him either.

  • I say abolish the Federal Reserve and prevent private banks from creating new money.

  • If you just keep loaning from private banks, then it means they will ultimately take control of the system by funding candidates, funding policy-institutions, etc to invest in a future government bail-out in order to insure against their risky and greedy behaviours.

  • Government should establish legislation to make sure these banks are punished. The Federal Reserve should not reward the criminals by re-inflating the bubble.

Once these banks go bankrupt, they bring down businesses and asset-values with them. The result is a huge shortage of money to supply and maintain businesses and employment. Government should create new money (e.g. Benjamin Franklin's Colonial Scrip) into infrastructure programs. Kick start the economy, and get savings rising again.

  • Persian Paladin, I think you're still missing the point. The Federal Reserve IS the problem -- they're the ones creating money and inflating bubbles.

  • The Fed is only part of the problem.

  • The Federal Reserve IS a private bank system.

  • Ron Paul's answer to every problem in America:-

    "Its the government's fault"

Come on Ron, you need to start exposing corporate fraud, worker exploitation, etc for once.

  • Its the govs. ligitimate function to uphold property rights, right to life, freedom, freedom from coercion and to uphold the sanctity of voluntary contracts. If there is "exploitation " and "fraud" its b/c the gov is so distracted running the welfare state it doesnt do its basic job....Ron Paul is right its the gov

  • Yes, its the government.

But its also the market failure too. The government allowed the market to have no rules and too much freedom to create new money out of thin air with interest. You cannot have a market without rules.

  • I believe you are mistaken. The creation of money & credit is done by the Federal reserve which was created by a special ACT of the government & acts basically as a goverment agency. In a truely free market MONEY is a scarce commodity whose supply is relatively constant (gold) and there CANNOT be this credit creation. A free market would not allow this. READ: "What has the government done to our money" by Murray Rothbard

  • I hope I misread what you typed. The Federal Reserve is a private organization...not a part of the government...

  • Nominally it IS a private bank. For instance it has to use actuall stamps when it sends letters > BUT the people who run it are appointed by the gov. And it has been given special rights ( printing money) by the gov. So it really functions as an arm of the government in many ways. This is corporatism: gov controlling and directing private institutions a form of soft fascism It think its very bad : It must go

  • agreed...it's not good when something so small not supposed to be associated with the gov. has so much power

  • Actually the USGOV is a arm of the Fed. Banksters tell the GOV who to appoint to the Fed. Watch "The Money Masters" on youtube.

  • I know you are right , nominally though is supposed to be a private institution like they have to use a stamp to send mail But U R correct the whole thing is like a fascist banking cartel that serves big finance interests

  • The Federal Reserve may be private in name but ultimately its actual control belongs to the execute branch of government. for further elaboration on this claim please read the following, as this medium does not allow for a detailed explication here:

The Myth of the Independent Fed

    w w w . lewrockwell. com/dilorenzo/dilorenzo147. html

  • PersianPaladin, you seem to be misinformed. It is the government that creates money out of thin air through the Central Bank (Federal Reserve in the US), NOT the free market.

  • The quadrillion dollar derivatives bubble happened because of deregulation in the eighties and this happened amongst many private banks. The Federal Reserve simply allowed this happen and even bailed them out; making a raging fire turn into an inferno.

  • So what? If the government didn't bail those banks, they would be out of business now as they should be.

  • The problem is, that if you allow private banks to create the money supply - then you are succeeding control to not only national private interests but also international banking fraternities. These institutions end up unregulated, some profit off the bankrupting of their own financial institutions, create huge bubbles that enslave people with debt, etc.

  • The reason he harps on about it is because government allows those other faults to go unpunished.

Corporations that commit fraud or make poor decisions would die in a free market system -- the government keeps them afloat and let's them get away with fraud.

  • I'm getting real tired of the government controlling our lives and taking our money. This is no longer America. I hope there comes a time when our government finally collapses and we can start over. However, I fear there will be much bloodshed to restore our freedom.

  • But whether the resistance against government tyrants is non-violent or physically violent, the effort to overthrow state oppression qualifies as true patriotism.

    ~ Ron Paul

  • Campaign for Liberty:

More of these sort of discussions please!

  • I do actually believe that socialized medicine does work in it's goal to provide better health care to the poor, but that doesn't make it morally right. It's a Robin Hood system, stealing from the wealthy and middle class to give to the poor. It would be better to work on other parts of the economy so that we can lift the poor up to the point where they can afford decent health-care too.

  • /watch?v=FunwL-JSeeA

It has nothing to do with where the system was invented (???) The US federal government is flat BROKE. And flat BROKEN for that matter.

Everything the feds touch turns to mud, and expensive mud at that.

We'd be better off giving control of our health care the to Three Stooges.

How about we have the US fed government come up there and run your health care system? What do you think about that?

  • You have made a very very good point there. I am no fan of Ottawa, but I feel that their is too much of a bureauocratic mentality and political rivalry/bitterness present in Washington, = sabotage.

  • I wouldn't trust DC to tie my shoes. I'd trust them to take them from me, but not to tie them.

  • Do you realize that you pay 60% taxes. In the US, the tax rate is down around 25%. Also notice that our economy kicks the crap out of yours, even during the recession.

Lets not forget that 98% of all medical advancements come from the US

  • people complain about the canadian health care system all the time. my dad works with canadian engineers, one of whom has a daughter with cancer who needed surgery to remove a tumor, she could not even receive service in canada and her family had to pay $27,000 for one surgery to have it done in los angeles. dont tell me canadas health care is great, it is shitty.

  • Your grossly misinformed. For one thing, Canada did not have the US system of health care. Nixon created this current version of health care. On top of that, the US did actually invent Canada's system. Lyndon Johnson made the plan, and Canada rushed through the same legislation to beat the US to free health care, but the US never passed it in the end. Anyway kid, wait till you get really sick and need a specialist and then we'll see how much you love the system.

  • Here in UK we have our health records online for the National Health Service(NHS). It has cost billions, but seems to work ok.

Data protection is a big worry though.

Last year 2 unencrypted social security CD's were lost(stolen) which contained everything.Names, addresses, bank account details, etc for 26million British people!

  • /watch?v=FunwL-JSeeA

  • cant watch. lew quiet paul loud

  • Obamacare is like a gun being held to our heads....agreed!

    Less gov is best!

  • don't you mean government is a gun being pointed to our heads.

government= an organization that holds the monopoly power of the initiation of the use of violence.

  • ya that too'

  • Be careful when you hear someone attack "fascism". They are usually Marxist agitators. The best you can hope is that they are ignorant.

This would not be true with people like Lew Rockwell or Webster Tarpley.

Marxists attack a nation, and a natural defense arises they call "fascism". By pointing to all of the ills the Communists themselves have caused, they attack the government they have subverted, and remove all remaining opposition.

  • Now here is a man with integrity.

  • Two men with integrity. Character too.

  • ''Liberty can not be preserved without a general knowledge among the people.''

    - John Adams

  • great video

  • Privacy Dr Paul. What is that?

  • Dont call it Obamacare!!!

Obama, Pelosi, and their pawns in office would NEVER accept this healthcare for themselves.

  • These are 2 of the great political and economic thinkers of our time. If we could only get them to a point of power so they could start dismantling that power we'd be so much better off. They make Washington and Jefferson look smaller.

  • Not that I don't agree with your first sentence, but the second sounds a lot like Frodo and the Ring to me.

  • great video - posted on dailypaul(dot)com where Ron Paul rEVOLution has a home

  • Ron Paul!!!!

  • The greatest truthteller and patriot of our time. Ron Paul 2012

  • Guilty by association. Your friends shouldn't judge someone solely by those they associate with. That is shallow-minded.

  • The concept of biological egalitarianism is a Communist notion. "Racism" is an imagined crime that is fomented by judeo-communism.

Everyone's "racist", and most Americans just use this term as a learned response, with no real sense in what they say.

  • Great conversation between these two great men.

Surprised Dr. Paul brought up that info about the many times that the CIA has tried to assassinate world leaders. We just happen to know of such a fellow that was to assassinate a world leader if they did not sign a treaty.

    Ron Paul/Rand Paul 2012

  • Sometimes statesmanship is annoying! All the subjects these men are covering make my blood boil and yet they remain so calm and talk about it as though it's inevitable. Just casual conversation, even laughing. Here I sit looking left, looking right, feeling TRAPPED and like there's no where to RUN.

It's very unsettling. And anything but amusing.

  • Didn't I see you sucking Jacque Fresco's dick while he turned you on with his utopian pipe dream.... aka communism for the 21 century?

  • Only one question is needed for Jacque's utopian vision to collapse..... Who is in charge in his world?

  • there is no power structure in charge of his idea of a world, unlike ours. the power is within the people that want to use resources efficiently , and distribute them to the most productive way possible through the means of technology- and by doing this people won't have to work , and everyday can be a vacation or day to do anything you like to do

  • yo , youtube jacque fresco interviews, and listen to what he has to say.

i don't know where you got this "one world government" idea, but it is not a world government idea. b/c there is no power structure or government to have power over.

  • Have you ever thought about how our world came about? How what we have today exists and what it takes to support it? How will Jacque's world come about? Who will build it? I ask again... who is in charge in his world? So long as we are human beings on earth, "no power structure" is not an answer. Another way to ask this is How is society organized? "Because it is" is not an answer.

Walk through the process of forming his world and you walk in the mind of a communist. It is not what it seems

  • yeah our world came about by the use of force. america was created by these europeans takin over indian land.

jacques' world would come about only if people want it that way.

no one is incharge except the people that are living in it.

since you believe in having a power structure, then obviously, im not going to discuss to you how you don't want a power structure.

what is your solution to this then?

  • I don't mean how did nations come about... where did the chair you sit on, the computer you use, the car you drive come from... that world

Let me ask the "who is in charge" question in a different way... if all the worlds resources are a "common heritage," who manages it?

I have read much of the Venus propagana including "Designing The Future" ... I know your young so maybe you never heard of communism.... The Venus Project is communism reborn. Lucky for us, it is not a violent movement

  • If you just take the time to investigate the history of communism, its premise and the promises it held out, which some people still hold out today, you will see it is exactly the same thing. Being that it denies the very world in which we live, far from creating an abundant world, it destroys the world leading to mass death and starvation. We don't need to learn these lessons again.

  • Lew is getting old

  • Ron's son, Rand is running for Senate in Kentucky.

    randpaul2010(.)com

  • Truth !!

  • No words can describe the awesome-ness going on in this video.

  • Great interview with two brilliant and principled individuals.

  • I would love to be the third chair in that circle, and the discussion last an hour =)

  • Informative as always. Keep up the good Fight Dr. Paul.

  • You can get more people to find this video who are searching under health care, obamacare by putting these words in your title and tags.

  • Fool, you are living in SLAVERY, NOW!!

  • no shit

  • many people fil to see this and accept their slavery as part of life, when in retrospect, this is as un-natural for us as is fluoride in our water.

  • What's wrong with the camera? It looks like the flashram is partially damaged or something like that.

  • I noticed that earlier myself but it could also be a Youtube problem with the upload being 1/2 way corrupt, after processing. At least it's up, and we are able to see this awesome conversation. What ever the problem is, lets hope it gets fixed with the next upload.

  • Ron was parodying the bureaucrats who might want to round people up if they didn't get mandatory flu shots.

  • Would you STOP messing with the camera...

  • I didn't know we had video footage of the Founding fathers.

  • Hahahaha, awesome comment. lol

  • I love Ron Paul and Lew Rockwell. I really appreciate this video. Thank you. Having said that, it's awful having to watch them in profile like this. Perhaps another format would be better in the future?

  • Paul/Paul 2012!!

(thats Ron and Rand! is that even allowed?)

  • I doubt it would happen, but that sure would be win win combo for this country. But yes I believe according to Constitution it is legal if both candidates are of the age limit, I just don't think any father/son team have ran for president and Vice President before, but i might be wrong so anyone feel free to correct me on that if so. I would vote for them if they both ran. :-)

  • In all fairness, I don't think Obama, et. al. think they are authoritarians who are doing the wrong thing. I think they see themselves as humane and decent. But they are just wrong about centralization and central planning. Collectivism, whether left or right, always leads to tyranny and loss of liberty and is ultimately inhumane.

  • Well you'd be right to say "They don't think they are doing the wrong thing"... but I think there is plenty of evidence that they think the population is ignorant and needs to be lead by authoritarian intellectuals (themselves). Plenty of bills that are pushed can only be explained by "You're to stupid to do this yourself so we'd better protect you".

    Cheers.

  • My two greatest, living libertarian heroes. We libertarians owe a lot to Lew and Ron. They are the founding fathers of our day.

  • Fifty years ago, I had a tonsilectomy. It cost my parents $75 total, including the hospital stay.

The government destroys everything it touches.

  • JiveDadson - "The government destroys everything it touches ." Definitely true, but this is in best case.

  • RON PAUL 2012!!!

    [or Rand Paul]

  • both awesome!

  • Fuck the haters who mark GO Ron Paul!! as spam. Ron Paul speaks the truth today as he always has and always will till his last dying breath in order to save this country and it's liberty. Obama wishes he could be 1/10 the man Ron Paul is. GO RON PAUL 2012!!!!

  • Yes, and those other GOP candidates who shared the stage with Ron and did there best to belittle him were not fit to breath the same air.

  • Excellent commentary.

  • two great minds meeting

  • Go Ron Paul!

  • who the heck marks go ron paul, as spam

youtube has got to many false flaggers and trolls

    Go Ron Paul!

  • Go Ron Paul!
