Umm, is there an alternate tutorial that doesn't include so much "synchopation", maybe taught by an expressionless German guy with an army-issue haircut? Is this really even "techno"? Srsly tho, some cool ideas here! Even if you're not sold on the tenori-on purely for it's (limited) sequencing capabilities, it's got some appeal for performers, which is always a challenge for synth acts. Who wants to leave their house to watch a couple guys stand at computers and tweak knobs??

i was a bit skeptical about buying this dvd, but once I got it, I ended up learning a lot. this dvd goes into much more technical detail about drum programming than this video shows!

i believe the picture was dark because the Tenori-On uses lights & they wanted to show it off.
